Integrating a communication terminal as the preferred device in a static communication system configuration
A computer-implemented method is disclosed for integrating at least one rust communication terminal assigned to a user as a preferred device in a static configuration of a communication system and/or for dynamically switching from a first communication terminal used as a preferred device to a second communication terminal as a preferred device for providing a one-number service using the preferred device, to which a one-number service number is assigned, wherein at least two communication terminals are statically assigned to the user and a preferred device is also dynamically assigned to the user through a virtual device. Also communication system designed for this purpose.
Cloud-based device twinning
A network-based service is utilized to facilitate twinning of two or more communication devices associated with a subscriber account. Incoming communication is intercepted by a communication device and forwarded to a network server, which in turn transmits the incoming communication to the multiple twinned devices. In addition, identifier data associated with outgoing communication is replaced with a primary identifier (e.g., customer telephone number (CTN)) of a user's primary device or a common identifier (e.g., a mobile one number (MON)) assigned to devices associated with the user's subscriber account. Communication devices can be temporarily twinned for a defined time period, during which a common bill can be generated for the twinned devices.
IOT-CONNECTED DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT AUTOMATED LOGIN SYSTEM
A modified telecommunications system is provided herein in which UEs can be associated with a user account using information other than SIM card data or a username and password combination. For example, when a subscriber activates a user account, the subscriber may be requested to provide a signature. A signature can include a unique PIN, a sample voice command, a fingerprint, a retinal scan, and/or the like. The signature may be stored in a data store in an entry corresponding to the user account. To associate a UE with a user account, the subscriber can provide a signature via the UE. The UE can then transmit the provided signature and a UE address to a management system. The management system can then store the UE address in the data store in an entry associated with the user account that corresponds with the provided signature.
TELEPHONE NETWORK SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems for and methods of delivering telephone calls using the combination of a data channel and a voice channel are disclosed. A data channel connection with the telephone handset may provide pre-call information used to set up incoming and outgoing calls which are ultimately connected using a voice channel. Use of the pre-call information may permit the same handset to be associated with multiple secondary telephone numbers from which calls appear to have been made and to which calls appear to have been placed.

METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY REGISTERING A USER IN A DESK-SHARE ENVIRONMENT AND IP TELEPHONE
The present invention relates to a method for automatically registering a user in a desk-share environment comprising a plurality of desks, each desk being equipped with an IP telephone connected to a communication network, in particular, to a local area network, wherein the IP telephone holds a data base comprising data of all desk-share users of the desk-share environment, the data comprising at least a user ID and a MAC address of a terminal device for each user assigned to a user profile, the method comprising the steps of: receiving, at the IP telephone, an IP data packet from a first terminal device via the communication network; verifying the MAC address in the IP data packet received from the first terminal device; and when the MAC address corresponds to a MAC address in the data of the data base, activating the user profile assigned to the MAC address in the IP telephone. Further, the invention relates to an IP telephone which is adapted to carry out the method for automatically registering a user in a desk-share environment.
Use of Identity Data Associated with a Device for Directing Communications to Another Device
Methods and systems for using and/or storing identity data associated with a device to direct communications to another device are described herein. A server may store identity data, such as subscriber identity module (SIM) data, associated with a device or user. The SIM data may be used to authenticate and/or register the device or user with a mobile network. Using the SIM data, other devices may use the capabilities of the first device. The server may receive, from another device, a request to access one or more capabilities of the first device. Based on the request, the server may send a request to register the SIM data with a mobile network. After registration of the SIM data with the mobile network, the server may be used to direct communications to the other device.
Voice service registration method and digital terminal
A voice service registration method and a digital terminal, relate to the communications field and applied to a voice service registration process, where the method and the terminal are used to resolve a problem that a voice service cannot be recovered in time after an upper-layer network of a digital terminal is recovered from a fault. A specific solution includes that after a digital terminal re-registers a voice service for the n.sup.th time, detecting, by the digital terminal, that a user performs a first operation on a voice terminal connected to the digital terminal, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and triggering, by the digital terminal, a voice service registration process when detecting that registration of the voice service fails.
