Virtual photorealistic digital actor system for remote service of customers
A system for remote servicing of customers includes an interactive display unit at the customer location providing two-way audio/visual communication with a remote service/sales agent, wherein communication inputted by the agent is delivered to customers via a virtual Digital Actor on the display. The system also provides for remote customer service using physical mannequins with interactive capability having two-way audio visual communication ability with the remote agent, wherein communication inputted by the remote service or sales agent is delivered to customers using the physical mannequin. A web solution integrates the virtual Digital Actor system into a business website. A smart phone solution provides the remote service to customers via an App. In another embodiment, the Digital Actor is instead displayed as a 3D hologram. The Digital Actor is also used in an e-learning solution, in a movie studio suite, and as a presenter on TV, online, or other broadcasting applications.
Determining an active station based on movement data
Methods for determining an active station based on sensor data are provided. In one example, a method includes the steps of receiving movement data and determining a pattern of movement associated with a contact center station based at least in part on the movement data. An active contact center station is updated based on the pattern of movement.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING REMOTE EXPERTISE
Expertise, such as foreign language interpretation, is delivered to requestors by an expertise-provisioning system that brokers requests between the requestors and experts affiliated with virtual call centers.
System for Facilitating Loosely Configured Service Worker Groups in a Dynamic Call Center Environment
A system for soliciting and activating one or more groups of workers to service contact center business includes an interface accessible to the one or more groups for accepting group registration data, publishing contact center business and for enabling the groups to subscribe to receive business; a data repository for storing the registration data for subscribing groups; and a routing server for specifying routing strategies for event routing to the groups. The system is characterized in that the one or more groups of workers may be activated during contact center business activity to perform services based on need.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING CONTACT CENTER SYSTEM
In a method for managing a contact center, the method includes: receiving, by a processor, a first incoming communication from a communication device associated with a customer; determining, by the processor, the first incoming communication should not be routed to any agents from among a first group of agents; routing, by the processor, the first incoming communication to an electronic device operated by an agent from among a second group of agents; monitoring, by the processor, an outcome of an interaction between the agent and the customer; determining, by the processor, a quality level for the agent in handling the interaction with respect to the first incoming communication; and routing, by the processor, a second incoming communication to the second agent based on the quality level for the agent in handling the interaction with respect to the second incoming communication.

Quality assurance configuration for remote agent communication
An apparatus includes a data storage device that stores remote agent quality assurance code and communication session code. Further, the apparatus includes a data capture device that captures data associated with a remote agent positioned in proximity to the data capture device. In addition, a processor receives a request from an agent routing platform for a service provided by the remote agent through a communication session between the remote agent and a user requesting the service. The processor executes the remote agent quality assurance code to determine that at least a portion of the captured data is non-compliant with the one or more quality assurance policies provided by the agent routing platform. Further, the processor executes the remote agent quality assurance code to provide one or more indicia of non-compliance.
SYSTEM TO DEPLOY A DISASTER-PROOF GEOGRAPHICALLY-DISTRIBUTED CALL CENTER
A redundant Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) call center system has two data centers each having a first and a second SIP server cooperating as a first SIP-server high availability (HA) pair, a set of SW applications executable at each data center, and a plurality of agent stations each comprising a SIP telephone and a computerized appliance executing a desktop application at each agent station. The HA pairs operate as SIP server peers, the agent SIP phones are configured to maintain simultaneous registration with both SIP server peers, and Agent Desktop applications log in to only one SIP server peer, wherein the SIP Server peers collaborate to deliver calls to individual agent SIP phones via the SIP server peer where the agent is logged in, and wherein, upon failure of either data center agent's desktop applications log in to the other data center, allowing the associated agent to continue working.
Method of operating an ordering call center using voice recognition technology
A system and method are provided for operating a call order center, comprising: obtaining voice training data for a call center service representative (CCSR) for phrases associated with an ordering process or products associated with the call order center; receiving customer call for an order by the CCSR on a telephone; activating a voice recognition system that accesses the CCSR voice training data via a switch; during a telephone call, issuing commands and providing data by the CCSR associated with the order to the voice recognition system that are translated and entered into an ordering system by the voice recognition system; and deactivating the voice recognition system via the switch. A role can be assigned to or deassigned from an employee based on their location relative to a particular location point within a work area.
