Complex computing network for providing audio conversations and associated visual representations on a mobile application
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for selecting and initiating playing of audio conversations on mobile computing devices. For example, a method comprises determining a first user accesses a mobile application on a mobile device associated with the first user; selecting an audio conversation for the first user, wherein the audio conversation involves at least a second user, wherein the audio conversation is selected for the first user based on at least one of first user information associated with the first user, second user information associated with the second user, or conversation information associated with the audio conversation; and initiating playing of the audio conversation on the mobile application on the mobile device.
Telephone network system and methos
Systems for and methods of delivering telephone calls using the combination of a data channel and a voice channel are disclosed. A data channel connection with the telephone handset may provide pre-call information used to set up incoming and outgoing calls which are ultimately connected using a voice channel. Use of the pre-call information may permit the same handset to be associated with multiple secondary telephone numbers from which calls appear to have been made and to which calls appear to have been placed.
TRANSMISSION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, TRANSMISSION SYSTEM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A transmission management system includes a destination name data managing unit which manages a plurality of destination name data items which indicate a plurality of names of a destination in communications between transmission terminals, a destination name data reading unit which reads a destination name data item from the plurality of destination name data items managed by the destination name data managing unit, and a destination name data transmitting unit which transmits the destination name data item read by the destination name data reading unit to a transmission terminal capable of communicating with the destination.
Conference calls and meetings via electronic messaging interface
Initiating a conference call includes receiving a conference call request message from an initiating user specifying a plurality of other users and determining an availability of the other users to receive conference call invitations. A conference call is initiated between the initiating user and one or more of the other users that are determined to be available. The availability of one or more of the other users determined to be unavailable is monitored and interaction with a conference call invitation by one or more of the other users determined to be unavailable is enabled upon their monitored availability changing from unavailable to available. The interaction with the conference call invitation by the other users is conditioned on whether the conference call is still in progress.
Automated Videoconference Systems, Controllers And Methods
A mobile computing device includes a touchscreen configured to display a user interface for receiving user input, memory hardware configured to store computer-executable instructions and information regarding scheduled conference calls, and processor hardware configured to execute the computer-executable instructions. The computer-executable instructions include communicating with a server via one or more wired/and or wireless communication networks, and parsing the information stored on the mobile computing device according to a parsing protocol to obtain information regarding at least one scheduled conference call. The instructions further include, in response to receiving user input via the user interface, transmitting at least a portion of the obtained information regarding the at least one scheduled conference call to the server to control a system controller in communication with the server to initiate the at least one scheduled conference call via a videoconferencing codec.
RESOURCE RESERVATION SYSTEM AND RESOURCE USAGE METHOD
A resource reservation system includes an information processing apparatus configured to accept a request to use a resource that is reserved; and an information processing terminal configured to communicate with a terminal apparatus. The information processing terminal includes a communicator configured to transmit, to the information processing apparatus, identification information of the terminal apparatus received from the terminal apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes a resource manager configured to determine whether to allow usage of the resource that is reserved, based on the identification information of the terminal apparatus transmitted from the information processing terminal.
Selecting meetings based on input requests
Techniques for selecting a meeting to join in response to a voice command from a user are described herein. A user may utter a voice command to join my meeting and, in response, the techniques may access a calendar associated with the user to identify the call-in information used to join the meeting. If the calendar indicates that the user is listed as an invitee for multiple meetings at the current time, then the techniques may analyze an array of criteria to determine which meeting the user most likely would like to join.
Systems and methods for accessing conference calls
A service for automatically connecting an individual's telephony device to a conference call when the conference call is about to begin is provided by a telephony system. The telephony system obtains information about a scheduled conference call directly from the individual's electronic calendar. When it is time for the conference call to begin, the telephony system dials into the conference call bridge and automatically provides the information needed to access the conference call. The telephony system then connects the individual's telephony device to the conference call.
ENHANCED VIDEO CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer-readable media storing executable instructions, for enhanced video conference management. In some implementations, a computer system obtains participant data indicative of emotional or cognitive states of participants during communication sessions. The system also obtains result data indicating outcomes associated with the communication sessions. The system analyzes relationships among emotional or cognitive states of the participants and the outcomes indicated by the result data, and identifies an emotional or cognitive state that is predicted to promote or discourage the occurrence of a target outcome. The system provides output data indicating at least one of (i) the identified emotional or cognitive state predicted to promote or discourage occurrence of the particular target outcome, or (ii) a recommended action predicted to encourage or discourage the identified emotional or cognitive state in a communication session.
Complex computing network for generating and handling a waitlist associated with a speaker in an audio conversation on a mobile application
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for generating and handling a waitlist during an audio conversation on a mobile application. For example, a method comprises: receiving a request from a first user, listening to a first audio conversation involving a second user and a third user, to join a waitlist associated with the second user or the first audio conversation; adding the first user to the waitlist associated with the second user or the first audio conversation; enabling the second user to view the waitlist; and initiating a second audio conversation between the second user and a user on the waitlist upon termination of the first audio conversation.
