Virtual meeting conduct procedure, virtual meeting conduct system, and virtual meeting member interface
Proposed is a method of holding virtual meetings, a system for holding virtual meetings, and a virtual meeting participant interface, which provide for the interaction of a plurality of participant automated workstations, and of at least one automated workstation of an authorized speaker, in which control over the holding of a meeting is carried out from the automated workstation of the authorized speaker by means of striking keys on a keyboard, and wherein each participant is allocated a separate key. The proposed group of inventions provides for the simultaneous control of the transmission of audio content and of video content, and the automated workstation of the authorized speaker is used for controlling when which conference participant is granted the right to speak.
Audio processing method and electronic device
Embodiments of this application belong to the field of audio processing technologies and provide an audio processing method and an electronic device. The method is applicable to an electronic device including a camera. The electronic device records a plurality of channels of audio and video pictures corresponding to the audio in a video recording mode, and plays, during video playback, some video pictures and audio obtained after the plurality of channels of audio are combined. When a speaker in a video picture starts to speak, played audio is switched to audio corresponding to the video picture in which the speaker is located; thereby resolving a feeling of a sudden change of sound caused by switching required for obtaining audio content when the electronic device that does not support playback of a plurality of channels of audio plays a video.
SOCIAL NETWORKING-BASED TELECONFERENCING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for creating and posting voice messages via a social networking service. A social networking service includes a website for receiving a voice message, post the voice message to the social networking service by storing the voice message as an audio file to a server, and transmit the post to a mobile device each associated with a follower of the social networking service. A client application running on each mobile device receives a notification of the post from the social networking service, and includes a control interface to enable an associated follower to access the voice message.
SELECTIVE INTERNAL FORWARDING IN CONFERENCES WITH DISTRIBUTED MEDIA SERVERS
A computer-implemented method comprises establishing, by media servers, a video conference for client computing devices, each media server receiving audio data and video data from a local subset of the client computing devices, selecting, by each media server, a portion of the local subset for which to send audio data to other media servers, sending, by each media server, audio data associated with the portion to other media servers, after receiving audio data from other media servers, generating, by each media server, ordered global list data that identifies each client computing device for which the media server has received audio data, based on the global list data and by each media server to other media servers, sending video data for each client computing device of the local subset that satisfies a threshold value.
Conference system
A stable conference system, which is reduced in the processing load placed on the system and receives a speech request from a discussion unit reliably, is be provided. A conference system S includes a control unit 1 and a discussion unit 2, a running packet is repeatedly transmitted and received between both units, the discussion unit includes a DU control portion 26, and a DU communication portion 21, the control unit includes a CU communication portion 11, and an audio slot, the DU control portion adds a request flag to the running packet, the audio slot receives audio information from the discussion unit, and when the running packet, with the request flag added, is received from the discussion unit, the CU communication portion transmits a content acquisition packet, carrying an acquisition command to acquire a content, to the discussion unit, which added the request flag, if the audio slot is vacant.
AUTOMATED QUEUING SYSTEM AND QUEUE MANAGEMENT
Electronic conferences often comprise a mixture of on-site and remote participants. A moderator may selectively engage remote participants for full-duplex interactions, such in response to the remote participant raising their hand to signal a question or desire to speak. Systems and methods are provided to enable a moderator to utilize natural speech to be utilized as voice commands, and with no other input, to cause a remote participant to be unmuted, enabling full-duplex for the associated remote terminal, and when the question is done, re-muted and thereby returned to half-duplex.
Social networking-based teleconferencing system and method
A system and method for creating teleconferences that leverage social networking websites and messaging thereof. The system includes a teleconferencing website hosted on a server for scheduling a teleconference in response to user input, and for generating a message for display on a social networking website. The message includes information about the teleconference and a link to one or more invitees to the teleconference. The system further includes an interactive voice response system for hosting the teleconference to connect at least some of the one or more invitees to the teleconference. The system further includes a client application running on a mobile device associated with each of the at least some of the one or more invitees. The client application receives a notification of the teleconference from the social networking website, and includes a control interface to enable an associated invitee to join the teleconference.
Method and device for managing speaking turns from a mobile terminal
A method for managing speaking turns, between a first mobile terminal and a second terminal, the first and second terminals being included in a set of interconnected terminals via a first communication network. The method including, following reception and validation on the second terminal of a connection request sent by the first terminal, the acts of configuring, for each of the terminals of the assembly apart from the first and second terminals, a first communication restriction for the connections using the first communication network and, establishing a communication between the first and the second terminal. On detecting the end of the communication, the method further includes removing the communication restriction for the set of terminals.
METHOD FOR ACQUIRING USER INFORMATION AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREFOR
The present invention relates to acquisition of user information by an electronic device, and comprises a communication module, a display, a processor, and a memory. The communication module and the display according to various embodiments are electrically connected to the processor. The processor is electrically connected to the memory. The memory causes the processor to: receive media information which does not include utterer information, perform signaling for acquisition of utterer information related to the media information, and determine and display the utterer information.
