FOOD SERVICE MATERIAL DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. A food service material dispenser comprises a roll holder configured to hold a roll of food service material, one or more rollers, and a motor configured to operate to translate the food service material along a path within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a cutting arrangement configured to perform a cut of the food service material to form the sheet of food service material that defines a size associated with a food service order. The dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the food service material that is based on the associated food service order. The dispenser further includes a chute configured to dispense the sheet of food service material, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
Image capture using multiple illumination sources
This disclosure provides a self-contained imaging device that takes digital photographs of portions of documents (such as photos or photo albums) instead of scanning those images. The imaging device uses a lens to zoom in on specific portions of the document that represent images that are to be digitized. Generally speaking, disclosed embodiments utilize a physical device having a housing, a location for retaining or holding an image to be imaged, such as a platen or image conveyance mechanism, a light source and the imaging system (which can be a digital camera). The disclosed device camera provides a low-cost mechanism that can at-once capture a high resolution image without the delays associated with most scanners.
SYSTEM FOR CUSTOMIZING KEEPSAKE CLOTHING
A system for customizing clothing that memorializes an event, an association a fantasy team or a cast by electronically collecting messages and signatures to be arranged and printed on clothing. In one embodiment, a user desiring to memorialize an event creates a list of invitees to whom the system sends an electronic invitation to create a signature and a message to be printed on a shirt. In another embodiment, a user presents a fantasy team roster and signatures of the team players are placed on an article of clothing. In a further embodiment, a user presents a cast and signatures of participants are placed on a garment. An invitee or celebrity electronically submits the signature and message to the system through a pointing device. The system provides a plurality of tools and templates to lay out the submissions in an individualized graphic design for printing on keepsake clothing.
System and method for remotely printing digital images for pickup at a retail store
The method and system allow a user to launch a client application on an web-enabled device and subsequently to navigate to an image source screen within the client application. After receiving an image source selection from the user, the client application retrieves images from the selected image source. The client application displays the retrieved images available for printing to a user, and in response to receiving a selection of an image, the client application transmits the image to a proprietary server. Moreover, upon receiving print order information, the client application additionally executes a location awareness application that determines a current location of the web-enabled device and subsequently, determines a proximal retail store to the current location of the web-enabled device. Thereafter, the remote printing system creates and transmits a print order that includes the selected image to the retail store for pickup.
Facial recognition for event venue cameras
An event venue with a performance area (e.g., a sport field or auditorium stage) and an eventgoer area (e.g., stadium seating or bleachers) may include a set of eventgoer cameras trained on various sections of the eventgoer area and a set of performance cameras trained on the performance area. The event venue may also include sensors. When an event occurrence (e.g., a goal or touchdown) is detected using the cameras and/or sensors, at least one photo or video of the event occurrence may be captured by the performance cameras, and at least one photo or video of the eventgoer reaction may be captured using the eventgoer cameras. Facial recognition may then be used to identify particular eventgoers in each photo or video. Identified eventgoers can then receive photos or videos in which they are identified along with performance photos or videos that were captured at roughly the same time.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus includes a selector and an instructor. The selector selects an image. The instructor provides an instruction if an aspect ratio of the selected image exceeds a maximum ratio of a range of predetermined aspect ratios. The instruction is an instruction to remove an end portion of the selected image in a width direction so that the aspect ratio of the selected image will be contained within the range of the predetermined aspect ratios. The instructor also provides an instruction if the aspect ratio of the selected image is smaller than a minimum ratio of the range of the predetermined aspect ratios. The instruction is an instruction to add a margin to an end portion of the selected image in the width direction so that the aspect ratio of the selected image will be contained within the range of the predetermined aspect ratios.
Picture Ordering and Processing
A method of processing a photograph comprises capturing or downloading the photograph onto a mobile electronic device with text messaging capabilities. The photograph is then transmitted in a text message to a remote server which is able to identify the mobile electronic device, and to match the mobile electronic device with information stored in a database relating to the mobile electronic device. The photograph is transmitted to a printer for printing the photograph on a physical medium. The photograph on the physical medium is then transported to a destination point address contained in the information stored in the database.
Photographic image extraction apparatus, photographic image extraction method, and program
A photographic image extraction apparatus according to the invention is applied to a smartphone. The smartphone includes an image capture unit that captures images of a plurality of photographs, a photographic image extraction unit that analyzes a plurality of photographic images that are the captured images of the plurality of photographs and extracts, from the plurality of photographic images, one or more photographic images having a high likelihood of containing an image of a specific person, and an extraction result display unit that displays a result of extraction by the photographic image extraction unit.
PRINTING SERVICE SYSTEM AND PRINT TERMINAL
The invention includes a print terminal that prints input image data and outputs the input image data as a print image, and an image storage server that is connected to the print terminal via a public network, and that stores the image data sent from the print terminal and user identification information. The print terminal creates, out of the print image, user identification information based on photographing location information and photographing date/time information included as data in a user identification information image specified by the user. In a case where the print terminal receives a re-input of image data of the user identification information image, the print terminal resends user identification information to the image storage server. In a case where an image directory including the resent user identification information internally exists, the image storage server sends the image data in the image directory to the print terminal.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: a laying-out unit configured to lay out image data in a template; a storage unit configured to store a content edited by a user for a layout result laid out by the laying-out unit; and a reflection unit configured to reflect the edited content on a re-layout result in a case where the image data is re-laid out by the laying-out unit.
