An example image forming apparatus includes a user interface device, an image forming job operator, a processor, and a memory. The processor executes instructions to perform a redaction process of redacting personal information displayed on a preview screen of a document through the user interface device of the image forming apparatus and included in the document, show display state information of the personal information, in synchronization with a progress of the redaction process, and control the image forming job operator to perform an image forming job with respect to the document in which the personal information is redacted when the redaction process is completed.

In accordance with an embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes an image reading section configured to read an original document and generate image data, the image data corresponding to the original document or a part of the original document. The image processing apparatus further includes a control panel including a document area for displaying a plurality of images, the plurality of images including an image which corresponds to the image data. The control panel is configured to receive input designating the image corresponding to the image data and at least one other image from the plurality of images. The image processing apparatus also includes a controller, which in response to an instruction, generates an aggregation image including the image corresponding to the image data and the at least one other image from the plurality of images.

A control method for an information processing apparatus which comprises a memory that stores a graphical user interface (GUI) application capable of providing a GUI in a case where a driver that does not have a function of providing a GUI is selected, the control method includes causing the GUI application to acquire drawing data generated by a drawing application, acquiring, by the GUI application, at least either of data including information indicating a setting and data including information indicating a capability of the driver, and providing, the GUI application, a first display item.

An information processing apparatus comprising an allocation unit for rearranging an order of original data of a plurality of pages and allocating the original data to book data used to generate a printed product having a book form, a display unit for displaying each of the original data and the book data along one direction on a predetermined display unit, and a setting unit for setting a binding method of the printed product having the book form, wherein the allocation unit changes, based on the setting of the binding method, an arrangement order of the book data to be displayed by the display unit.

The circuitry is configured to acquire print setting information; acquire information on a post-processing capability; generate a predicted image representing a state of the recording sheet applied with the post-processing, based on the image data, the print setting information, and the information on the post-processing capability; and display the predicted image.
