The intruder detection mode execution unit suspends the intruder detection mode for a predetermined suspension time period if the job reception unit receives the instruction to perform a predetermined specific job while the intruder detection mode execution unit executes the intruder detection mode.

Provided is an image reading device includes a document transport device that sequentially transports a plurality of documents one by one, and the image reading device sequentially reads the plurality of documents transported by the document transport device one by one. An image forming apparatus includes an intruder detecting unit that detects an intruder, a notification unit that notifies detection of the intruder, an intruder detection mode execution unit that executes an intruder detection mode to cause the notification unit to notify the detection of the intruder if the intruder is detected with the intruder detecting unit operating, a job reception unit that receives an instruction to perform a job, and an image forming unit that forms an image. The intruder detection mode execution unit suspends the intruder detection mode for a predetermined suspension time period if the job reception unit receives the instruction to perform a predetermined specific job while the intruder detection mode execution unit executes the intruder detection mode.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit configured to perform a printing process of forming an image on a print medium based on print data, and a processor. The processor is configured to determine whether or not the printing process has completed based on remaining print data to be printed, when the print medium is removed from a paper discharge tray in which the print medium on which the image is formed by the image forming unit is placed, and to cause a warning to be output upon determining that the printing process has not completed based on the remaining print data to be printed.

According to an example, a printing apparatus may include a first output bin, a second output bin, a first light source positioned to illuminate a portion of the first output bin, a second light source positioned to illuminate a portion of the second output bin, and a controller. The controller may activate the first light source in response to a media being outputted to the first output bin and may activate the second light source in response to a media being outputted to the second output bin to direct a user to the first output bin and/or the second output bin containing a most recently printed media.
