MEDIA RAMP WITH FILM
Examples disclosed herein relate to a device including a media ramp, in examples, the device includes a scanner disposed in a scan zone to image a medium traveling across the scan zone; a transparent member disposed over the scan zone; a media ramp disposed adjacent to the scan zone to direct the medium to an exit; and a film element disposed underneath the transparent member and adjacent to the scan zone at a first end and disposed to extend over at least a portion of the media ramp at a second end.
Translatable scanner calibration target
In one example, a document scanner has a fixed-position scan bar and a built-in translatable calibration target. The scan bar has a linear array of imaging elements aimed in an imaging direction. The calibration target is spaced apart from and parallel to the linear array, and has a planar surface orthogonal to the imaging direction spanning the length of the linear array. The target is translatable during a calibration in a direction in a plane of the surface.
Image reading device that reads document image
An image reading device includes a contact plate, a frame, a carriage, and a flexible flat cable. The carriage includes a reading mechanism and a resin-made slider projectedly provided at both end portions of the reading mechanism in its extending direction, and reciprocally moves in a sub-scanning direction at a bottom surface side of the contact plate while the slider slides the bottom surface of the contact plate in the frame. The flexible flat cable is connected to an one side surface of the carriage so that a width direction thereof matches the main-scanning direction, is arranged so that a part continued from a portion where the flexible flat cable connects with the one side surface is curved in a U-shape to go around toward an underside of the carriage, and transmits an electric signal of the reading mechanism. The contact plate is applied with a fluorine coating.
Imaging device and imaging method comprising intensity detection of yellow light, magenta light and cyan light reflected from a subject
An imaging apparatus for use with a subject may include a light source structured to irradiate the subject with a yellow light, a magenta light and a cyan light at a delayed illumination timing; and a plurality of photodetectors structured to detect the intensity of the light coming from the subject when the yellow light is irradiated, the intensity of the light coming from the subject when the magenta light is irradiated, and the intensity of the light coming from the subject when the cyan light is irradiated.
Image reading device with document pressing section
There is provided a flat head type image reading device configured to scan a standard size document including an A4 size, the image reading device including: a document pressing section pressing the standard size document and made of an elastic member, in which the document pressing section has fixing members, and the fixing members are arranged at positions corresponding to end portions of the standard size document.
Scanner, and scanned image generating method
A scanner has a first sensor array; a second sensor array; a timing controller that individually outputs at different times a first drive signal that drives the first sensor array, and a second drive signal that the second sensor array; and a light source configured that emits and illuminates a document during periods between the first drive signal and the second drive signal output next after the first drive signal, and periods between the second drive signal and the first drive signal output next after the second drive signal.
REFLECTIVE SHEET COUPLING
One example includes a device that is comprised of a cover housing, a reflective sheet, a coupler, and a fastener. The reflective sheet may hold media against a planar transparent scanning area of the device. The coupler may removably attach the reflective sheet to the cover housing, the coupler having a resilient member to exert an axial restoring force between the reflective sheet and the cover housing. The fastener may fix the coupler to the reflective sheet.
Document reading device and image forming device
A document reading device includes a conveyer for conveying a document sheet using a single drive source, a reader for reading an image of the document sheet being conveyed through a reading position, and a controller for stopping the conveyance by the conveyer if a read request for a first document sheet, which is being conveyed upstream of the reading position in a conveyance direction, has not received. The controller invalidates the image read from a second document sheet which is being conveyed downstream of the first document sheet if the trailing edge of the second document sheet has not passed through the reading position at a timing when the conveyance is stopped because of the read request having not been received, and validates the image read from the second document sheet if the trailing edge of the second document sheet has passed through the reading position.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS
An original image is read as an aggregate of a plurality of pixels in which adjacent pixels have different colors (R, G, and B) in a main scanning direction and in a sub-scanning direction, and the read pixels of the respective colors are stored in a line memory in association with information on relative positions of the pixels with respect to another pixel. Then, the stored pixels are sorted so that pixels having the same color are adjacent to each other, and an abnormal pixel (dust) not present in the original image is detected based on the state of the sorted pixels. With this, the dust not present in the original image is detected without increasing the cost, and the dust is corrected without forming a conspicuous trace of correction.
Information processing apparatus and information processing method
The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus and an information processing method which facilitate reproduction of the data obtained by encrypting prepared multiple patterns regarding at least part of data of content with unique keys. An image acquiring unit receives an image file containing: encrypted data that is obtained by encrypting with unique keys multiple pieces of pattern data regarding forensic object data which is at least part of encoded image data of video content and that has an identical size; unencrypted data, of the encoded image data of video content, which is not encrypted with any one of the keys; size information that represents the size of the encrypted data; and position information that represents a position of the encrypted data in the file. The present disclosure can be applied to a video reproducing terminal and the like.
