IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image reading apparatus includes a conveying unit, a transparent member, a reading unit, and an opposing member. The reading unit includes a light source configured to irradiate a document with light, and a reading portion configured to read an image of a document conveyed by the conveying unit through reflection light of the light irradiated from the light source via the transparent member. The opposing member is disposed to face the transparent member in an opposing direction at a reading position of the reading unit and configured to form the conveyance path together with the transparent member. The opposing member includes an uneven surface portion facing the transparent member. The uneven surface portion includes a plurality of projecting portions which is regularly and continuously arranged when viewed in the opposing direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD
An image forming apparatus includes a transfer unit, a sway roller pair constituted of a pair of rollers, a hardware processor and an image reader. The transfer unit transfers an image onto paper being conveyed to an image transfer position where the transfer unit transfers the image onto the paper. The sway roller pair conveys the paper to the transfer unit, the paper being conveyed to the sway roller pair. The hardware processor makes the sway roller pair sway based on predetermined sway control information. The image reader reads the paper onto which the image has been transferred by the paper having passed through the transfer unit. The hardware processor corrects the sway control information based on a reading result of the reading performed by the image reader.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING PRINTED PAPER TO A SCANNER IN A MULTIFUNCTIONAL PRINTER
A multifunctional printer having a printer section, an auto document feeder, a scanner section, a print path, and a path guide. When the multifunctional printer is not in a print and scan mode, the path guide can move to a position that routes printed paper from the print path to a print output tray. When the multifunctional printer is not in a print and scan mode, the path guide can move to a position that routes printed paper from the print path to the auto document feeder, where it can be scanned.
Decoloring device and image processing system
A decoloring device includes a scanner, a decoloring unit, and a processor. The scanner reads an image on a sheet. The decoloring unit decolors the image on the sheet after the scanner has read the image. The processor recognizes a page number included in the image and stores the image read by the scanner and decolored by the decoloring unit at a location that is associated with the recognized page number.
IMAGE SCANNING DEVICE AND SHEET FEEDING METHOD APPLIED THEREIN
An image scanning device includes an upper shell, a feeding shaft pivotally connected to the upper shell, a feeding roller mounted around the feeding shaft, a sensing roller, a motor, a lower shell pivotally covered to the upper shell, a plurality of springs and a contact image sensor. The sensing roller is mounted around the feeding shaft. The motor is connected with the feeding shaft. The motor drives the feeding shaft to rotate in different speeds. The plurality of the springs are mounted to the lower shell. The contact image sensor is mounted to the plurality of the springs. A top surface of the contact image sensor is capable of abutting against lower portions of outer surfaces of the feeding roller and the sensing roller by virtue of the plurality of the springs elastically abutting against a bottom surface of the contact image sensor.
READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A reading apparatus includes: a reader that reads an image formed on a sheet; an opposed reading member provided opposite to the reader; a first feeding path that feeds a sheet on an upstream of the reader in a sheet feeding direction; a second feeding path that is continuous to the first feeding path and feeds a sheet between the reader and the opposed reading member; a pair of feeding rollers that feeds a sheet on the first feeding path to the second feeding path; a guide member that guides a sheet fed from the first feeding path to the second feeding path; and a roller that is arranged on the second feeding path and is rotatably driven, wherein the first feeding path and the second feeding path form a feeding path bent, a downstream end of the guide member is positioned in a first region.
MEDIUM DISCHARGE DEVICE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A medium discharge device includes a discharge roller pair that is provided with a discharge driving roller and a discharge driven roller which drivably rotates in contact with the discharge driving roller, and a medium receiving tray which receives the medium that is fed and discharged by the discharge roller pair, in which the medium receiving tray includes a guide member which guides such that a tip end of the medium which is discharged from the discharge roller pair enters the medium mounting surface at a predetermined angle, and the guide member is provided to be elastically displaceable in an advancing and retreating direction with respect to the medium mounting surface of the medium receiving tray and is displaced in a direction coming close to the medium mounting surface according to raising of a pressing load due to the medium that is discharged to the medium receiving tray.
IMAGE READING DEVICE
It includes a transport section configured to transport a document, a reading section configured to read an image of the document transported in a transport direction by the transport section, and a rotation member that is provided with, on a peripheral surface, at least two background sections having colors different in brightness from each other, that is provided at a position facing the reading section, and that, by rotating, changes a position of the background section with respect to a reading position of the reading section, wherein the rotation member is separable from the reading section.
IMAGE SCANNING DEVICE
An image scanning device includes a transport section that transports a document along a transport path; an image scanning unit that is configured to scan an image from the document transported by the transport section; and a first conductive section that is configured to electrically conduct with the image scanning unit. The image scanning unit has a scanning section that is configured to scan the image from the document transported by the transport section, a glass plate that is configured to contact with the document between the scanning section and the transport path, and a second conductive section that is configured to electrically conduct with the glass plate. The image scanning unit is configured to displace along a displacement direction that intersects the transport path. The first conductive section is configured to follow the displacement of the image scanning unit and to maintain electrical conductivity with the glass plate by maintaining a state where the first conductive section is in contact with the second conductive section by following the displacement of the image scanning unit.
IMAGE SCANNER
A first reading sensor reads a first surface of a document. A second reading sensor reads a second surface of the document. An elastic body presses the second reading sensor toward the document that is conveyed toward an other side in a first direction. A conveyance guide includes a protrusion accommodating the elastic body. A friction pad contacts, from below, the document supported by a document placement surface. A recess is recessed downward from the document placement surface. A feed roller at a lowermost position enters the recess. An opening is formed in the document placement surface. The opening allows an exposed surface of the protrusion to be exposed to a side to which the document placement surface faces. The friction pad, the recess, and the opening are arranged away from one another in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and an upper-lower direction.
