System for curation and display of location-dependent augmented reality content in an augmented estate system
A device for recording filterable content in the form of an augmented reality moment file which is represented by an augmented reality icon recordable and readable by a device having a processor in proximity to the locus of a recorded moment file configured to receive an augmented reality moment file. The content of the augmented reality moment file is preferably assessable via a user selectable icon either representative of a user, location, and/or theme. The icon assessable content moment file preferably includes a location, a product or a service purchase fact, a coupon, an advertisement, a promotional offer, a public transportation advisement, a travel advisement, a review, a moment proximity alert, a monetary amount, a map of locations where moments were created by a specific user, a time certification, a resume, a biography, a headshot, a moment “like” notification, a riddle, or a challenge.
DIGITAL MOTION PICTURE CAMERA
In a digital motion picture camera comprising an electronic image sensor for generating image signals, a control unit is configured, in response to a scene record command, to generate a sequence data stream, which represents a sequence of consecutive frames, from the image signals of the image sensor and to transmit the sequence data stream to a sequence memory device. The control unit is configured, in response to an identification image record command, to generate an identification image data set, which represents at least one scene identification image, from the image signals of the image sensor and to buffer the identification image data set in a buffer memory, with the control unit further being configured to insert the buffered identification image data set into a subsequently generated sequence data stream such that the sequence of consecutive frames is preceded by the scene identification image.
Digital image processing apparatus and method of controlling the same
A digital image processing apparatus and a method of controlling the same. The digital image processing apparatus includes: a display controller for displaying first content on a display unit; and an image generator for generating second content based on a photographing signal input, which may be from a user, and third content related to the second content.
Enhanced image capture
Disclosed are techniques that provide a “best” picture taken within a few seconds of the moment when a capture command is received (e.g., when the “shutter” button is pressed). In some situations, several still images are automatically (that is, without the user's input) captured. These images are compared to find a “best” image that is presented to the photographer for consideration. Video is also captured automatically and analyzed to see if there is an action scene or other motion content around the time of the capture command. If the analysis reveals anything interesting, then the video clip is presented to the photographer. The video clip may be cropped to match the still-capture scene and to remove transitory parts. Higher-precision horizon detection may be provided based on motion analysis and on pixel-data analysis.
Highlighting Media Through Weighting of People or Contexts
Techniques and apparatuses for highlighting media through weighting of people or contexts are described. This document describes techniques that allow a user to quickly and easily highlight media, such as through generating a highlight reel. The techniques also enable selection of context and person weightings by which to tailor highlight reels.
Augmented property system of curated augmented reality media elements
A device based system for interacting around a collection of user definable moments portraying a theme readable by others via a filter. Users may participate actively, voyeuristically, passively, or vicariously, to share propaganda, graffiti, news, parody, satire, opinions, information, commentary, entertainment, contests, and amusement to a location or an object.
Mobile terminal and method for controlling the same
The present invention relates to a terminal and a method of controlling the same. A terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a touchscreen, and a controller configured to cause the touchscreen to display video at a reproduction speed, cause the touchscreen to display a first icon, capture the displayed video according to a touch received at the first icon, and adjust the reproduction speed of the video according to a degree of the touch.
METHODS CIRCUITS DEVICES SYSTEMS AND FUNCTIONALLY ASSOCIATED MACHINE EXECUTABLE INSTRUCTIONS FOR IMAGE ACQUISITION IDENTIFICATION LOCALIZATION & SUBJECT TRACKING
Disclosed are computerized methods and systems for providing digital image data in which there appears a captured instance of a point of interest located within a coverage area of the systems. Exemplary systems may include at least one image repository gateway for accessing one or more image data repositories which may store digital image data of images and videos acquired from within the system coverage area. The system may also include an image scanning engine to search through and access image data from the one or more image data repositories in accordance with an image data search query, selecting stored images and videos with geolocation tags indicating a location within a spatial distance of a location parameter of the image date query. The system may perform image searches and retrievals based on manually defined search queries. The system may also include an Image search query generator configured to auto-generate an image data search query to find a moving subject appearing in a previously retrieved image, wherein the image data search query for finding and or tracking may be based on an auto-predicted route of the subject derived from a previously retrieved or selected image.
Modeless video and still frame capture
In an embodiment, an electronic device may be configured to capture still frames during video capture but may capture the still frames in the 43 aspect ratio and at higher resolution than the 169 aspect ratio video frames. The device may interleave high resolution, 43 frames and lower resolution 169 frames in the video sequence, and may capture the nearest higher resolution, 43 frame when the user indicates the capture of a still frame. Alternatively, the device may display 169 frames in the video sequence, and then expand to 43 frames when a shutter button is pressed. The device may capture the still frame and return to the 169 video frames responsive to a release of the shutter button.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PHOTO AND VIDEO CAPTURE
A single user input element in an image capture device is used for both photo and video capture. Based on a first user interface activity, a timing reference is engaged at a first reference time. In a first case, photo capture is performed. In the first case, a second reference time is based on a second user interface activity, and the timing reference indicates a passage of time between the two reference times is shorter than a particular time interval. In a second case, video capture is performed. In the second case, the timing reference indicates a passage of time since the first reference time is equal to or longer than the particular time interval. Video capture is stopped based on a subsequent user interface activity. The user interface activities may comprise detecting actions based on the same type of physical manipulation of the single user input.
