Video recording and reproducing method, and video reproducing apparatus and method including thumbnails for moving pictures and still pictures
A recording apparatus, including: a photographing unit which picks up a moving picture and a still picture; a first encoder which encodes the moving picture and the still picture by a first encoding method; a second encoder which encodes the still picture by a second encoding method which is different from the first encoding method; and a recorder which records a file of the moving picture encoded by the first encoding method, a file of the still picture encoded by the first encoding method and a file of the still picture encoded by the second encoding method, on a recording medium, wherein both of the file of the still picture encoded by the first encoding method and the file of the still picture encoded by the second encoding method, are based on one still picture picked up with a single photographing.
Method and apparatus for managing images using a voice tag
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a voice input module which receives a voice from an outside to generate voice data, a memory which stores one or more images or videos, and a processor which is electrically connected to the voice input module and the memory. The memory includes instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the electronic device to link at least one of the voice data, the first metadata information based on the voice data, or second metadata information generated from the voice data and/or the first metadata information with the second image or video.
Method of controlling digital photographing apparatus and digital photographing apparatus using the same
Provided is a method of controlling a digital photographing apparatus recording moving image data being input to a recording medium in a moving image photographing mode. The method includes creating a moving image file in the recording medium and storing the moving image data being input in the moving image file when a first signal is generated by a first button of the digital photographing apparatus pressed, stopping storing of the moving image data being input when the first signal is generated by a second button of the digital photographing apparatus pressed by the user, continuing to store the moving image data being input in the moving image file when a second signal is generated by the second button pressed by the user, and stopping storing of the moving image data being input and completing the moving image file when the second signal is generated by the first button pressed.
Enhanced Image Capture
Disclosed are techniques that provide a best picture taken within a few seconds of the moment when a capture command is received (e.g., when the shutter button is pressed). In some situations, several still images are automatically (that is, without the user's input) captured. These images are compared to find a best image that is presented to the photographer for consideration. Video is also captured automatically and analyzed to see if there is an action scene or other motion content around the time of the capture command If the analysis reveals anything interesting, then the video clip is presented to the photographer. The video clip may be cropped to match the still-capture scene and to remove transitory parts. Higher-precision horizon detection may be provided based on motion analysis and on pixel-data analysis.

Tampering detection for digital images
A computing system for tampering detection for digital images is disclosed. The computing system uses a LTI filter to filter time series data representing images in one or both of two videos and/or a still image of a live photo captured by a camera. A causal relationship in time existed between the images in the two videos and the still image when they were captured by the camera. The computing system determines whether the filtered output data representing an image by using the LTI filter is causal. If the computing system determines that the filtered output data representing the image is non-causal, it asserts a signal indicating that the image has been modified after it was captured.
Augmented real estate with location and chattel tagging system and apparatus for virtual diary, scrapbooking, game play, messaging, canvasing, advertising and social interaction
A device based system for interacting around a collection of user definable moments portraying a theme readable by others via a filter. Users may participate actively, voyeuristically, passively, or vicariously, to share propaganda, graffiti, news, parody, satire, opinions, information, commentary, entertainment, contests, and amusement to a location or an object.
Sensory and cognitive milieu in photographs and videos
A method includes receiving a package comprising an image and metadata of the image including ambient condition data, storing the package in a memory, receiving a request for the image, outputting the image in response to the request, determining a context of the request, determining, using the context of the request, a substitute for the ambient condition data, and outputting the substitute for the ambient condition data with the image.
METHOD FOR CAPTURING IMAGE DURING VIDEO RECORDING AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Disclosed in this application are a method for capturing an image during video recording and an electronic device, so that image quality of a captured image is improved. The method includes: displaying a viewfinder screen, where the viewfinder screen displays a preview image stream, the preview image stream includes n frames of preview images obtained based on n frames of first images collected by a camera, the viewfinder screen includes a snapshot shutter, and the n frames of first images are stored in a first buffer queue; stopping recording a video; saving the video; when the camera collects a q.sup.th frame of first image in the n frames of first images, receiving a third operation performed by the user on the snapshot shutter; and performing image processing on the q.sup.th frame of first image saved in the first buffer queue to obtain a captured image.
ARITHMETIC PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, AND IMAGING DEVICE
An arithmetic processing device of a pipeline configuration in which a combination of a combination circuit and a flip-flop circuit group including a plurality of flip-flop circuits corresponding to each bits of output data of the combination circuit is connected in a plurality of stages includes a mask processing section configured to control a mask of an operation clock signal to be supplied to each flip-flop circuit, wherein the mask processing section is configured to supply the operation clock signal to each flip-flop circuit corresponding to a bit of the input data for use in the arithmetic process in the combination circuit, and wherein the mask processing section is configured to mask the operation clock signal corresponding to a bit of the input data that is unused in the arithmetic process in the combination circuit.
