DIGITAL CAMERA
A digital camera includes a communicator that communicates with other digital camera, a receiver that receives a camera information of another digital camera and an imaging device that forms a digital image of an object. The digital camera further includes a processor that creates a digital image data from the digital image based upon the camera information.
Electronic device and method for processing captured image associated with preview frames by electronic device
An electronic device and an operation method by the electronic device are disclosed. The electronic device includes a controller that controls to extract at least one frame of a plurality of preview frames inputted through an image capturing device and store an image captured through the image capturing device according to an image capturing request in association with the selected at least one frame; and a storage unit storing the captured image and the selected at least one frame.
Image device and method for memory-to-memory image processing
Provided are an image device and method for operating the device. The image device includes a memory, a first image processor configured to receive image data that includes first and second sub-data, perform first image processing, and write a result of the first image processing to the memory, a second image processor configured to read the first and second sub-data, on which the first image processing has been performed, from the memory, and perform second image processing that is different from the first image processing, and a controller configured to control the second image processor to read the first sub-data, on which the first image processing has been performed, from the memory, before the second sub-data, on which the first image processing has been performed, is written in the memory, after the first sub-data, on which the first image processing has been performed, is written in the memory.
Floating-point camera
According to some embodiments, a camera captures images in a fixed-point format of a certain bit depth, which are then converted into a floating-point texture by a GPU. After processing for image enhancement in floating-point space, according to some embodiments the images are converted back to a fixed-point representation and stored in non-volatile memory.
Live Updates for Synthetic Long Exposures
An image sensor of an image capture device may capture an image. The captured image may be stored in a buffer of two or more previously-captured images. An oldest image of the two or more previously-captured images may be removed from the buffer. An aggregate image of the images in the buffer may be updated. This updating may involve subtracting a representation of the oldest image from the aggregate image, and adding a representation of the captured image to the aggregate image. A viewfinder of the image capture device may display a representation of the aggregate image.
Imaging apparatus, imaging control method and storage medium
An imaging apparatus including an imaging sensor, a memory, and a CPU. The CPU is operable as: (i) repeatedly acquiring an image by driving the imaging sensor at preset timing, (ii) acquiring an image by driving the imaging sensor by receiving an instruction at arbitrary timing, while maintaining acquisition processing by the (i), (iii) storing, in the memory, the image acquired by the (i) and the image acquired by the (ii), (iv) judging whether the arbitrary timing and the preset timing coincide with each other, and (v) when judged that the arbitrary timing and the preset timing coincide with each other as a result of a judgment of the (iv), controlling to store, in the memory, the image acquired by one of the (i) and the (ii), as the image acquired by the other of the (i) and the (ii), or controlling the imaging sensor.
IMAGING APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND METHOD OF TRANSMITTING IMAGE DATA
An imaging apparatus to be remotely controlled by an external electronic device includes: a communication unit that communicates with the electronic device; an imaging unit that captures a moving image of a subject to generate moving image data from which still image data is to be extracted; a storage unit that stores, in a recording medium, the moving image data generated by the imaging unit; and a control unit that controls an operation of the imaging apparatus. The control unit performs a process of generating the moving image data in response to a first request from the electronic device and generating the still image data by extracting at least one frame image from the moving image data stored in the recording medium, in response to a second request from the electronic device, and causes the communication unit to transmit the generated still image data to the electronic device.
IMAGE CAPTURING DEVICE HAVING CONTINUOUS IMAGE CAPTURE
Methods, devices, and systems for continuous image capturing are described herein. In one embodiment, a method includes continuously capturing a sequence of images with an image capturing device. The method may further include storing a predetermined number of the sequence of images in a buffer. The method may further include receiving a user request to capture an image. In response to the user request, the method may further include automatically selecting one of the buffered images based on an exposure time of one of the buffered images. The sequence of images is captured prior to or concurrently with receiving the user request.
Digital camera that communicates with another digital camera
A digital camera includes a communicator that communicates with other digital camera, a receiver that receives a camera information of another digital camera and an imaging device that forms a digital image of an object. The digital camera further includes a processor that creates a digital image data from the digital image based upon the camera information.
