Automated Sharing of Digital Images
Automated sharing of digital images is described. In example implementations, a computing device, such as a smart phone, captures a digital image depicting multiple faces of multiple persons included in the digital image. The computing device is capable of automatically distributing a copy of the digital image to the subjects of the digital image. To do so, a digital image sharing module determines a person identifier using facial detection and recognition. The person identifier, which can be derived from facial characteristics, is used to search a contact information database and find a matching entry. The matching entry includes contact information associated with the person in the digital image. The sharing module transmits a copy of the digital image to the person using the contact information. The digital image sharing module can also display a sharing status indicator indicative of whether the digital image can be, or has been, transmitted automatically.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SECURE COLLABORATIVE MEDIA PRESENTATION
A process for securely coordinating different image capture devices at an event so that images captured may be vetted and redisplayed for all participants to view in near real-time. The process includes a group of image capture devices, wirelessly communicating to a remote server that is located at the event. The server coordinates the devices in the group, consolidating the captured images from all the devices and presenting them to an event hoster for their approval so that they can be redisplayed to all participants at the event through a display system, which may include one or more of the capture devices.
SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING IMAGE SCANNING TASKS TO NETWORKED DEVICES
A scan task system includes a plurality of imaging devices, including MFDs, dedicated scanners, or mobile phones with scanning or camera functions. The system notifies a user or a number of users when a particular document needs to be scanned and transmitted to a specific destination. A scan task is sent to available imaging devices, and will appear when the user logs in at any imaging device on the network. When a user executes the scan task at any one of the imaging devices, the scan task is removed from all devices. The scan task can be pre-programmed to appropriately file or send a scanned document when the scan is executed.
Data storage usage protocol
A technique processes captured data on a device, wherein selected captured data of a given quality resolution is transferred via a communication link to a separate storage location for future availability. A storage protocol may include different storage organization categories. A possible aspect includes an identifier record to enable future accessibility to selected captured data by one or more authorized parties or approved devices or authorized recipients.
SYSTEMS, METHODS AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCTS FOR FAX DELIVERY AND MAINTENANCE
This disclosure is directed to systems and methods for the delivery and maintenance of faxes where the faxes may remain at a faxing system for a minimal amount of time. The faxing system may send a queued fax to a connector responsive to a request from the connector to pull or retrieve a fax. The connector is configured to send a release notification to the faxing system after the fax is received. The faxing system is configured to delete the queued fax as soon as confirmation of the delivery of the fax can be determined or when an expiration time has elapsed.
Storing Information For Access Using a Captured Image
An electronic device associates first information and at least a first portion of a first image, and uses a second image that includes a portion corresponding to at least the first portion of the first image to access the associated first information.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE READING AN IMAGE AND TRANSMITTING READ IMAGE DATA, ON THE BASIS OF ACQUIRED PROCESSING INFORMATION ASSOCIATEDD WITH RECEIVED PROCESSING IDENTIFIER, TO STORING LOCATION ACCORDING TO THE PROCESSING INFORMATION, AND CORRESPONDING IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An image processing device including a reception unit, an acquisition unit, an image reading unit, a transmission unit, and an instruction unit. The reception unit receives a processing identifier associated with image reading processing. The acquisition unit acquires processing information associated with the processing identifier, the processing information including at least information regarding a storing location and client's identification information. The image reading unit reads an image on the basis of the processing information. The transmission unit transmits data of the read image to the storing location according to the processing information. The instruction unit issues a print instruction to print the image on the basis of the client's identification information included in the processing information.
Storing information for access using a captured image
An electronic device associates first information and at least a first portion of a first image, and uses a second image that includes a portion corresponding to at least the first portion of the first image to access the associated first information.
Information processing device, and method and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium for the same
An information processing device may display a first image indicating a storage area. The information processing device may display a second image in response to receiving a first specific operation performed on the first image. The information processing device may receive a second specific operation for selecting the second image. The information processing device may receive first path information in response to receiving the second specific operation The first path information may indicate a location of the storage area. The information processing device may send the first execution instruction to the image processing device, in the case that the second specific operation is received. The information processing device may receive scan data from the image processing device. The information processing device may store a data file of the received scan data in the storage area designated by the first path information.
Information processing apparatus, information management apparatus, control methods thereof, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
An information processing apparatus generates data by a data generation operation by a user, transmits the data to an information management apparatus, and set a prescribed time capable of a disclosure cancel operation by the user upon generating the data. The information processing apparatus, when the prescribed time has elapsed without the cancel operation by the user, transmits, to the information management apparatus, a notification which allows disclosure of the data to another information processing apparatus.
