Information processing system with ability to interrupt process based on past document processing record
An information processing system includes a processor configured to: obtain a feature of a target document which is a document to be processed; and obtain information on a process performed by the information processing system on a past document which is a document that has the obtained feature and that has been processed in past in the information processing system.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes circuitry to receive, from a reading unit that reads a document having multiple pages, multiple page data individually corresponding to the multiple pages of the document; and transmit, to an external storage, the multiple page data to be stored in the external storage. The circuitry starts the transmitting, to an external storage, the multiple page data to be stored in the external storage before reading all pages of the document completes. The circuitry receives an edit instruction for editing page data transmitted to the external storage among the multiple page data; and transmits, to the external storage, edit data for reflecting the edit instruction in a content to be displayed based on the multiple page data read from the external storage, so as to cause the external storage to execute processing corresponding to the edit instruction for editing the page data having been transmitted.
Systems, apparatus, and methods for transmitting image data
Examples described relate to systems, methods, and apparatus for transmitting image data. The apparatus may comprise a memory buffer configured to store data elements of an image frame and generate a signal indicating that each of the data elements of the image frame have been written to the memory buffer, a processor configured to initiate a flush operation for reading out at least one data element of the image frame from the memory buffer and to output the at least one data element at a first rate, a rate adjustment unit configured to receive the at least one data element from the processor at the first rate and to output the at least one data element at a second rate, and a multiplexer configured to receive the at least one data element from the processor at the first rate and configured to receive the at least one data element from the rate adjustment unit at the second rate. The multiplexer may select the at least one data element at the second rate for transmitting on a bus in response to receiving the signal from the memory buffer.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes an operation section, first storage, second storage, a processing section, and a display section. The first storage stores data of a file therein. The file includes contents that can be printed. When the operation section receives an instruction for erasing the file, the processing section transfers the file from the first storage to the second storage. The display section displays an inquiry screen for inquiring whether or not to reproduce the file. When the operation section receives an instruction for reproducing the file, the processing section executes print processing or transmission processing. The print processing is processing for printing the contents. The transmission processing is processing for transmitting an email with the file attached thereto. After executing the print processing or the transmission processing, the processing section erases the file from the second storage.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM AND PORTABLE DEVICE
A non-transitory computer-readable medium having a computer program stored thereon and readable by a computer of a portable device, the computer program, when executed by the computer, causes the portable device to perform operations including: receiving a user operation of designating operation specifying information; instructing an image processing apparatus to execute the image processing operation of a content specified by the operation specifying information; storing history information indicative of an execution history of the receiving and the instructing; extracting, from among a plurality of program identification information, program identification information associated with the extraction condition information coinciding with the stored history information; and displaying the extracted program identification information.
Image processing apparatus and method, and non-transitory computer readable medium
An image processing apparatus includes a reservation setting unit, an operation unit, and a setting controller. The reservation setting unit receives a process request reservation through a communication line from a terminal used by a first user, and sets a reserved state. The operation unit receives an operation input from a second user different from the first user. The setting controller applies control to allow the second user to perform, with the operation unit, an input operation of a setting item regarding a process request and a setting value of the setting item in the reserved state.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
An information processing system includes a display unit, a detector, plural vibration sources, and a vibration controller. The display unit displays a document on a display screen. The detector detects an operation by an operator on the document displayed on the display screen. The plural vibration sources deliver vibrations to different parts of the operator. The vibration controller performs control to selectively vibrate the plural vibration sources in accordance with contents of the operation detected by the detector.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
An image forming system includes: a server; and an image forming apparatus, in which the server acquires divided-images obtained by dividing an original image, and provides the divided-images to the apparatus, acquires a dividing-printing-rule for determining which divided-image of the divided-images is printed at which position, and provides the rule to the apparatus, information on a divided-image to be printed and a printing position of the divided-image to be printed being described in the rule for each time when printing the image to be printed, and provides present time to the apparatus as time information, and the apparatus acquires the divided-images to be printed, the rule, and the time information from the server, selects, based on the time information and the rule, the divided-image to be printed from the divided-images and determines the printing position of the divided-image to be printed, and prints the selected divided-image at the printing position.
Image reading apparatus having transmission function and a user inquiring function and control for stopping the transmission or not depending on the transmission protocol used for transmission
An image reading apparatus in which a session timeout does not take place in a case where user's confirmation is obtained before image data obtained by reading originals is transmitted. Before transmission of image data, a control unit determines whether a protocol having a time out is selected. If the selected protocol has a timeout, the control unit determines whether a memory is in a memory full state each time image data of one page is stored into the memory. If the memory is in a memory full state, the user is requested to confirm as to whether transmission is to be performed. If the necessity of transmission is confirmed by the user, the control unit establishes a session with a destination and transmits image data of pages stored in the memory to the destination.
