System and method for sending, delivery and receiving of faxes using a remotely deployed fax service or system
Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD OF IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
To enable identification of a user who has transmitted image data generated by scanning by an image processing apparatus, the image processing apparatus that communicates with a chat server that performs control, based on received information indicating a talk room of the chat server, to display information indicating received image data and transmission source user information indicating a user who has transmitted the image data on the talk room includes a reading unit configured to read an image of an original document and generate image data based on the image, a designation unit configured to designate a talk room of the chat server; and a transmission unit configured to transmit the image data generated by the reading unit, information indicating the talk room designated by the designation unit and the transmission source user information to the chat server.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTE FAX INTERCONNECT
Systems and methods for the virtualization, aggregation, enhancement, and distributed processing of facsimile communications. The Remote FAX Interconnect known as etherFAX is a system and method that allows for the reception and delivery of information to or from one or more facsimile systems using Internet/web based communication protocols such as HTTP(S) as the transport between a cooperating facsimile capable application or hardware and the remotely accessible etherFAX services.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DELIVERING A FAX TO A RECIPIENT ON A PAGE BY PAGE BASIS
A method for delivering a fax to a fax recipient includes receiving a multipage fax transmitted at a fax server. As each page of a multipage fax is received, a page event notification is generated. Each page of the multipage fax file is converted into a corresponding page file. A page complete notification is generated upon completion of conversion of each page of the multipage fax file into the page file. Access is enabled to the page file of the multipage fax file responsive to receipt of the page complete notification associated with the page file. Access to the page file is enabled while subsequent pages of the multipage fax are being received and converted to the associated fax file.
Digital faxing through existing fax servers
Traditional fax servers may be improved to interoperate with secure fax servers, enabling high-resolution, color fax receipt by the traditional fax server in addition to traditional low-resolution, black-and-white fax receipt. A process for authenticating and registering allows the traditional fax server to receive digital faxes sent through the secure fax server. Further, an automated registration process allows sending to any existing fax number through the secure fax server. If no verified destination is known, a traditional fax is sent. If that reaches a interoperable traditional fax server, the number may be verified, digital fax retrieved, and all future faxes to that number through the secure fax server delivered as high-resolution color digital faxes. This enables seamless fax quality upgrades within existing fax servers.
Secure and disruption-tolerant communications for unmanned underwater vehicles
An underwater communications system includes a network communication interface, one or more computer processors, and a memory containing computer program code that, when executed by operation of the one or more computer processors, performs an operation. The operation includes storing a plurality of data packets to be transmitted to a destination device, determining that data communications over the network communication interface have become available for a first network node, and determining that the first network node has a valid security credential. Additionally, the operation includes, upon determining that the first network node has the valid security credential, transmitting the stored plurality of data packets over the network communication interface to the first network node. The first network node is configured to employ store-carry-and-forward data messaging techniques to transmit the plurality of data packets towards the destination device.

TRANSMISSION DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM FOR FORWARDING ONLY A FINAL RESULT OF EACH TRANSMISSION JOB TO A SERVER
A transmission device includes a controller that, in a case of transmitting a log of a transmission job to a server, controls forwarding such that each log remaining in the server is only a confirmed result for each transmission job.
