An apparatus memory is configured to store mode information indicating one of a first contract mode, a second contract mode, and a commercial mode. The first contract mode is a mode in which an apparatus contract for an apparatus main body and a consumable contract for a consumable are set. The second contract mode is a mode in which the apparatus contract is not set and the consumable contract is set. The commercial mode is a mode in which neither the apparatus contract nor the consumable contract is set. A controller is configured to perform: receiving first cancellation information of the first contract mode from a server via a communication interface; and in response to receiving the first cancellation information of the first contract mode from the server, switching the mode information from the first contract mode to the second contract mode or the commercial mode.

A communication device includes a first controller, a second controller which consumes less power than the first controller, and a memory configured to store a first setting value and a second setting value. The communication device is configured to operate selectively in one of a plurality of operation modes including a second operation mode in which the second controller can execute a process without the first controller executing the process. The second controller is configured to, in a case where the function executing instruction is received from the external device, the first setting value indicates the first value corresponding to executing the predetermined function, and the second setting value indicates the fourth value corresponding to not executing the process in a situation where the operation mode is the second operation mode, execute a related process related to not executing the predetermined function with the second operation mode maintained.

A server apparatus receives setting information that indicates settings of an information processing apparatus, and obtains a default setting for each of a plurality of particular setting items that are related to security among a plurality of setting items in the information processing apparatus. The server apparatus detects, based on the setting information, whether or not a setting of each of the plurality of particular setting items has been changed from the default setting, and notifies a user of a detection result in a case where it has been detected that none of the settings of the plurality of particular setting items has been changed from the default setting.

An image forming apparatus that forms an image on a recording material includes a reception unit configured to receive a job to be executed by the image forming apparatus, an execution unit configured to execute the job received by the reception unit, and a diagnostic unit configured to execute a diagnosis to diagnose a state of the image forming apparatus, wherein, in a case where the reception unit receives the job during the diagnosis by the diagnostic unit, the diagnosis being executed is interrupted, and the execution unit executes the job.

An apparatus memory stores first type information indicating whether an apparatus main body is a contract apparatus or a normal apparatus. The contract apparatus is usable in a case where an apparatus contract for an image forming apparatus is set. A consumable memory stores second type information indicating whether a consumable is a contract consumable or a normal consumable. The contract consumable is usable in a case where a consumable contract for an image forming apparatus is set. A controller is configured to: determine whether the first type information indicates that the apparatus main body is the contract apparatus; determine whether the second type information indicates that the consumable attached to the apparatus main body is the contract consumable; and switch a function usable in the image forming apparatus based on a combination of the first type information and the second type information.
