When a communication connection between the first and second information processing devices is not established, the transmission of the job execution request is controlled to transmit the job execution request based on the portion of the information after the communication connection is established. The second information processing device executes a predetermined job based on the job execution request received from the first information processing device.

An information processing apparatus coupled to a device via at least one of a plurality of networks includes a memory having computer readable instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the computer readable instructions to transmit to the device first communication information for performing communication between the device and the information processing apparatus, when a process is requested from the device; determine whether the communication is possible via a first network to which the device is coupled according to whether the communication is performed using the first communication information; connect to a second network using second communication information for connecting to the second network, when the communication is determined impossible via the first network; and determine whether the communication is possible via the second network according to whether the communication is performed using the first communication information via the second network.

A remote maintenance system capable of reducing user's time and effort required to establish communication between an image processing apparatus and an operator terminal. An operator terminal performs remote maintenance communication with an image processing apparatus via a relay server, for performing a maintenance operation of the image processing apparatus. A connection request for connecting to an operator terminal is received from an image processing apparatus, and the remote maintenance communication between the image processing apparatus and the operator terminal is established based on the connection request. When the connection request is received, an operator terminal that has not established the remote maintenance communication is assigned to an image processing apparatus that has sent the connection request, and the remote maintenance communication between the image processing apparatus having sent the connection request and the assigned operator terminal is established.

An operating method of a server for providing a cloud service is provided. The operating method includes receiving shared file information from each of a plurality of devices connected to the server, transmitting the shared file information in response to a request from one of the plurality of devices, and, when receiving a request for a shared file included in the shared file information, receiving the shared file from a device in which the shared file is stored and transmitting the shared file to a device that requested the shared file.

A camera scanner captures an image of a document stand on which an object is placed using a camera unit. The camera scanner obtains an IP address of an electronic terminal (a smartphone) and an identifier of an image from the image of a display screen of the electronic terminal placed on the document stand by detecting and decoding a QR code.
