APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING MAIL AND PARCELS AND RESPECTIVE OPERATING METHOD
A method of operating an apparatus for receiving one or more mail items is described. The method includes activating the communication between a user interface device and a remote device; generating, by an electronic control unit, at least one random alphanumeric code; sending, via a network interface device, the random alphanumeric code to the remote device; sending, by the remote device and via the network interface device, an unlock signal based on the random alphanumeric code to the electronic control unit. An unlock signal is processed by the electronic control unit to unlock the movable closure element and allow one or more mail items to be introduced in or withdrawn from the internal cavity.
Adaptive electric dual-controlled intelligent lock
An adaptive electric dual-controlled intelligent lock includes a mechanical clutching structure and an intelligent electronic control structure. The mechanical clutching structure includes a lock head, a lock cylinder and a lock tongue, wherein: the lock cylinder includes movable buckles, springs and a bearing. After being inserted into the keyhole of the lock head and then into the locked groove, a key is turned, the movable buckles move in an elastic range of the springs and drive the lock tongue connected with the bearing to swing, thereby realizing a mechanical unlocking process. The intelligent electronic control structure includes a PCB (printed circuit board), a motor and a shifting lever, wherein: a wireless control module is connected with an external mobile intelligent device; after the motor is started, the shifting lever pushes the movable buckles, so that the bearing drives the lock tongue to swing, thereby achieving an intelligent unlocking process.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING MAILBOX MANAGEMENT SERVICE
A mailbox management system includes a server, a client-mailbox store, a mailbox management application installed on a mobile device of a client-mailbox store operator, and a mobile application installed on a mobile device of a mailbox user. The client-mailbox store includes a physical mailbox assigned to the mailbox user, and the server is connected to the mailbox management application, the mobile application, and a third party virtual mailbox provider. The mailbox management application is configured to receive label information of a mail, and the server is configured to receive the label information from the mobile application and send it to the mobile application of the recipient mailbox user. The mobile application is further configured to present an open and scan action option, a forward action option, a shred action option, and a trash action option to the mailbox user concerning the mail.
A SMART DEVICE FOR RETAINING PLANAR ITEMS
An apparatus comprising: a retaining device for retaining planar items including mail and/or documents, in which mail can be located and from which mail can be collected; a control means; a sensor means for indicating to the control means information indicative of mail and/or documents having been placed in the retaining device and/or removed from the retaining device, wherein the control means is arranged to cause, in response thereto, at least one action to be performed.
Residential pneumatic mailbox and mailing system
A residential pneumatic mailbox and mailing system includes a mailbox, a receiving unit, pneumatic tubing, a courier canister, a compressor, and a control unit. The mailbox is positioned along a curbside of a home. The receiving unit is positioned inside the home or on the outside of the home. The pneumatic tubing is connected between the mailbox and the receiving unit. The courier canister is sized to hold mail and is configured for moving back and forth in the pneumatic tubing between the mailbox and the receiving unit. The compressor and control unit are configured to control the movement of the courier canister within the pneumatic tubing back and forth between the mailbox and the receiving unit. Wherein, the residential pneumatic mailbox and mailing system is configured to transport the mail inside of the courier canister from the mailbox to the receiving unit, and vice versa.
Smart Mailbox
The present invention relates to a smart mailbox and a system for remotely monitoring and controlling the smart mailbox. The mailbox features a microprocessor to receive instructions from the remote electronic device, and transmits information using a wireless communication channel established by a wireless transceiver to the remote electronic device. The remote electronic device is connected to the mailbox and accesses the mailbox through an installed software application. The mailbox has a door for opening and closing the mailbox, a servo motor connected to a pair of springs to control movement of the mailbox door, a high resolution camera to capture video of inside and around the mailbox, a mail sensor to detect the presence of a parcel in the mailbox and a solar panel configured to provide electrical power to the components of the mailbox.
SECURITY CONTAINER
A security container configured to be releasably secured to a structure wherein the security container is movable between a stored position and a deployed position. In the deployed position the security container is operable to receive packages or similar objects. The security container includes a rear wall, a front wall, a bottom panel and sidewalls that are movably coupled in order to provide transition between the stored position and the deployed position. A top panel member is further provided to provide covering of the opening of the security container 100 in its deployed position. A communications module is further includes having elements such a motion sensor, a camera and a microphone wherein the communications module provides remote operation of the security container 100. An alarm module and weight sensors are further included and the security container 100 can be secured to the structure utilizing alternate embodiments of the securing member.
