IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing apparatus includes a generating unit and a display. The generating unit performs a reduction process on at least a part of document data to generate a reduced image. The display displays the reduced image.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing device includes a color reproduction characteristic acquiring unit that acquires a color reproduction characteristic of a display device, a color reproduction characteristic correction unit that corrects the color reproduction characteristic, a feature amount extraction unit that extracts a feature amount which is an object of the correction of the color reproduction characteristic acquired by the color reproduction characteristic acquiring unit, and an evaluation image selecting unit that selects, based on the feature amount, an evaluation image which is a source for generating a confirmation image including (i) an image when the color reproduction characteristic acquired by the color reproduction characteristic acquiring unit and before the correction is used and (ii) an image when the color reproduction characteristic after the correction by the color reproduction characteristic correction unit is used.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS REPLACING COLOR OF PORTION IN IMAGE INTO SINGLE COLOR, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing method for processing an image includes determining, selecting, and replacing. It is determined whether a portion, including a plurality of pixels and darker than a threshold in the image, is subject to a color replacement. One predetermined color from among a plurality of predetermined colors is selected, based on a color of at least a part of the plurality of pixels. Based on the determination, a color of the portion is replaced with the selected one predetermined color.
GENERATING PREVIEWS OF 3D OBJECTS
Methods and apparatus relating to previews of objects are described. In one example, control data for generating a three-dimensional object specifying, for voxels of the object, at least one print material to be deposited in that voxel during object generation is obtained. A viewing frustum may be determined, and visible voxels within the viewing frustum identified. A number of preview display pixels to display the preview may be determined and the set of voxels to be represented by each preview display pixel identified. At least one voxel appearance parameter of a voxel may be determined from the control data. For each preview display pixel, at least one pixel appearance parameter may be determined by combining voxel appearance parameters for the set of voxels to be represented by that preview display pixel. Preview display pixels may be controlled to display a preview of the object according to the at least one pixel appearance parameter.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS WITH MEMORY STORING PRE-PROCESSED IMAGE DATA
An image processing apparatus comprises a scanner section, a pre-processing section, a memory and a post-processing section. The scanner section reads a document to output first image data. The pre-processing section carries out a pre-processing serving as an image processing that is not changed according to setting of a user for the first image data output by the scanner section to output second image data. The memory stores the second image data output by the pre-processing section. The post-processing section carries out a post-processing serving as an image processing that is changed according to setting of the user for the second image data output by the pre-processing section to output third image data, and if the setting is changed, carries out the post-processing corresponding to the changed setting for the second image data read from the memory to output the third image data.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A DECOR SHEET FOR DECORATIVE PANEL
A method is provided for manufacturing a decorative sheet for decorative panels. The method may involve providing a first printed substrate having a printed color patch having at least one printed color spot. The first printed substrate may be subjected to at least a predetermined operation that causes a color shift of the color spot. A first color coordinate set may be determined for the color spot. A first ICC profile may be determined using the first color coordinate set. A first master image may be visualized on a display device using the first ICC profile. An image processing operation may be performed on the first master image to obtain a second master image during the visualization. The second master image may be printed on a second substrate to obtain the decorative layer.
Process for displaying and designing colors
The present disclosure is directed to a system for displaying and designing one or more colors on digital display devices, non-digital display media, or a combination thereof. The system can comprise one or more comparative colors, background colors, or a combination thereof for improved color visual comparison. The system can be used for comparing and selecting colors, such as for use in fashion color designs, automotive color designs, architecture color designs, appliance color designs, or a combination thereof. This disclosure is further directed to a kit and a method for displaying and producing one or more colors.
Interactive three-dimensional (3D) color histograms
Techniques for interactively determining/visualizing the color content of a source image and how the corresponding image data is mapped to device colors are described herein. For example, the color content of a digital image can be converted between different color spaces to identify gamut limitations of an output device (e.g., a printing assembly), discover color(s) that cannot be accurately reproduced, etc. Color space conversions enable the transformation of the color content of the digital image from device-specific colorants to a device-independent representation (and vice versa). In some embodiments, these transformations are facilitated using lookup tables that are implemented in graphical processing unit-resident memory.

Method and device for the true-to-original representation of colors on screens
Described is a method and a device for screen calibration for the true-to-original reproduction of surface colors, the spectral reflection distribution of which is known, wherein by setting parameters the screen can be influenced using software and an electronic controller in each partial region of the screen. The disclosure is characterized in that an observer adapts the reproduced color impression of the screen to the color impression of an original in each partial region of the screen, wherein the original is compared to the screen colors immediately thereafter on the screen surface and the screen parameters are varied until the color impressions of the original and of the screen appear identical to the observer on the respectively viewed partial screen, viewed from a predefined observer angle, and the settings performed are stored in a screen profile.
