Printing apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing program
A printing apparatus capable of performing spot color printing using a spot color printing material of a spot color that is a color different from a process color, includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire print data including image data for an image of a print target, wherein if the print data is data used to cause the printing apparatus to execute the spot color printing, the print data includes information about the spot color printing; and a display control unit configured to display, on a display part of the printing apparatus, a preview screen of the image of the print target. Whether to display the preview screen on the display part of the printing apparatus is controlled based on the print data.
Information processing for colorimetry operation generating a chart with read result patches arranged adjacent corresponding reference patches
An information processing apparatus comprises acquiring information related to a chart to be printed, the chart including a plurality of patches arranged adjacent to each other; causing a display unit to display a plurality of patch displays according to a plurality of expected colors of the plurality of patches being acquired, and a procedure of sequentially measuring, by a colorimetric apparatus, the plurality of patches formed on the chart; sequentially acquiring measured values measured by the colorimetric apparatus; and sequentially displaying objects indicating measured colors, based on the measured value for each patch being acquired in a manner superimposed on a part of the patch display according to a corresponding expected color such that a display portions of the expected colors are connected between at least one pair of adjacent patch displays even after the objects are displayed.
PROFILE ADJUSTMENT METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROFILE ADJUSTMENT PROGRAM, AND PROFILE ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS
In an output profile representing a correspondence relationship between device independent coordinate values and second coordinate values in a second device dependent color space, a color conversion table used to convert the device independent coordinate values into the second coordinate values is defined as a first conversion table, and the device independent coordinate values at the adjustment point are defined as to-be-adjusted PCS values. In optimization, an optimization process including an element making provisional color values closer to an adjustment target is executed, the provisional color value being acquired by a conversion, in accordance with the first conversion table, of provisional PCS values resulting from a change in the to-be-adjusted PCS values, thus acquiring an optimal solution for the device independent coordinate values corresponding to the adjustment target.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a display and a controller. The display displays an image. The controller controls the display to display a color setting section that sets information regarding a selected color selected from among multiple predetermined colors, and an effect presenting section that presents visual effect information representing a visual effect of the selected color.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a display and a processor. The display displays an image. The processor causes the display to display a color presenting section that presents color-related information and a multilayer display section that displays a multilayer structure of color-related information selected from the color presenting section.
Generating previews of 3D objects
Methods and apparatus relating to previews of objects are described. In one example, control data for generating a three-dimensional object specifying, for voxels of the object, at least one print material to be deposited in that voxel during object generation is obtained. A viewing frustum may be determined, and visible voxels within the viewing frustum identified. A number of preview display pixels to display the preview may be determined and the set of voxels to be represented by each preview display pixel identified. At least one voxel appearance parameter of a voxel may be determined from the control data. For each preview display pixel, at least one pixel appearance parameter may be determined by combining voxel appearance parameters for the set of voxels to be represented by that preview display pixel. Preview display pixels may be controlled to display a preview of the object according to the at least one pixel appearance parameter.
DEVICE LINK PROFILE ADJUSTMENT METHOD, DEVICE LINK PROFILE ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS, AND DEVICE LINK PROFILE CREATION METHOD
A device link profile adjustment method of a computer carrying out a process of adjusting a device link table in a device link profile expressing a correspondence relationship between a first coordinate value of a first device-dependent color space and a second coordinate value of a second device-dependent color space, the method including: accepting an adjustment target at an adjustment point, using a coordinate in a profile connection space as a reference; and adjusting the device link table based on the adjustment target and a color conversion table including a device-independent coordinate value of the profile connection space of an original profile used to create the device link table.
Sheet tray and image forming apparatus
A sheet tray includes: a tray body; first and second guides slidable on the tray body and contactable with a sheet; an interlocking mechanism; and a plate including first and second plate engaging portions. The first guide includes a first guide engagement portion and a first operation portion. The second guide includes a second guide engagement portion and a second operation portion. When the first operation portion and the second operation portion are located at non-operated positions, the plate is located at a first position where the first and second plate engaging portions are respectively engaged with the first and second guide engagement portions. When the first operation portion and/or the second operation portion is located at an operated position, the plate is located at a second position where the first and second plate engaging portions are respectively spaced apart from the first and second guide engagement portions.
REPRODUCTION COLOR PROFILE CORRECTION DEVICE, REPRODUCTION COLOR PROFILE CORRECTION METHOD, REPRODUCTION COLOR PROFILE CORRECTION PROGRAM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM INCLUDING REPRODUCTION COLOR PROFILE CORRECTION PROGRAM
A reproduction color profile correction system includes, a differential colorimetric value calculator which calculates a differential colorimetric value that is a difference between a predicted colorimetric value and a measured colorimetric value, the predicted colorimetric value being a colorimetric value of a predicted reproduction color corresponding to a process ink combination of an ink combination, and a measured colorimetric value being a colorimetric value obtained by measuring a reproduction color in a color chart corresponding to the process ink combination, and a colorimetric value corrector which corrects, by using the differential colorimetric value, a predicted colorimetric value of a reproduction color reproduced by the ink combination.
MEASURES FOR IMAGE TESTING
A system and method for image testing is configured to apply at least one display property to a test image to generate a display modified test image and applying the at least one display property to a reference image to generate a display modified reference image. The system also applies a human eye model to the display modified test image to generate an eye modified test image and applies the human eye model to the display modified reference image to generate an eye modified reference image. The system may compare the eye modified test image with the eye modified reference image to determine human perceivable differences between the test image and the reference image.
