An information processing device includes a processor configured to acquire image data including color information, acquire color information of a formed image, the formed image being an image formed on a recording medium on a basis of the image data, acquire light transmittance information expressing a degree of light transmittance of an image-carrying medium, the image-carrying medium being the recording medium on which the formed image is formed, and associate first color information, second color information, and the light transmittance information with each other, the first color information being the color information included in the image data and the second color information being the color information of the formed image.
Color resources
An example color resource is generated. A source color from a first color space is converted to a corresponding greyscale color in a greyscale color space. The greyscale color includes a first luminosity amount. A black channel amount is adjusted to a depletion color from a second color space to form a target color in the second color space. The depletion color corresponds with a transformation of the source color into the second color space. The depletion color includes a second luminosity amount, and adjusting the black channel includes matching the second luminosity amount in the target color with the first luminosity amount.
Color rendering on a hue plane
In embodiments of color rendering on a hue plane, a color rendering module can receive three channels of color information. The color rendering module converts the three channels of color information to two channels of color information and performs a color rendering operation on the two channels of color information to provide two channels of rendered color information. The color rendering module then converts the two channels of rendered color information back to three channels of rendered color information.

Perceptually Accurate Image Rendering
An image reproduction system and methods for providing colorant data to an end device are disclosed. A method includes extracting general HSV value data for each pixel of an image from image data. For each pixel, the general HSV value data is transformed to generate universal perceived brightness, Bp, and universal perceived-chroma, Cp, value data. End-device colorant data associated with the general HSV value data is retrieved for each pixel and scaled using the Bp and Cp value data to obtain scaled end-device colorant data. The scaled end-device colorant data is transmitted to the end device.
CONFIGURING AN IMAGING SYSTEM
Examples of a method and a system for configuring an imaging system are described. These examples involve obtaining a random sample of area coverage representations and grouping these by an estimated color, such as a colorimetric value. In each group a selected area coverage representation is determined with respect to one or more imaging attributes. A color gamut based on the random sample and the selected area coverage representations are used to generate a color mapping from an input color space to an area coverage representation space for use by the imaging system.
Color separation condition determining apparatus, method and non-transitory storage medium
The present invention relates to a color separation condition determination device, method and storage medium. A pixel of interest is extracted from multiple pixels, and the influence of visual effect applied to the pixel of interest is estimated on the basis of the positional relationship between the color of the pixel of interest and each color of at least one surrounding pixel. Also, the total usage of color materials in the pixel of interest is estimated. The color separation condition in the pixel of interest is determined on the basis of the respectively estimated influence of visual effect and total usage of color materials.
Systems and methods of processing scanned data
An efficient method and system to enhance digital acquisition devices for analog data is presented. The enhancements offered by the method and system are available to the user in local as well as in remote deployments yielding efficiency gains for a large variety of business processes. The quality enhancements of the acquired digital data are achieved efficiently by employing virtual reacquisition. The method of virtual reacquisition renders unnecessary the physical reacquisition of the analog data in case the digital data obtained by the acquisition device are of insufficient quality. The method and system allows multiple users to access the same acquisition device for analog data. In some embodiments, one or more users can virtually reacquire data provided by multiple analog or digital sources. The acquired raw data can be processed by each user according to his personal preferences and/or requirements. The preferred processing settings and attributes are determined interactively in real time as well as non real time, automatically and a combination thereof.
Color pipeline
An example of a color management module is disclosed. The color management module is to generate a mapping from an incoming color space to a printer color space by a color pipeline. In the generation of the mapping, the color pipeline is adjusted so that the mapping of a target color associated with a first composition further includes adding a quantity of a second composition to the mapping of the target color. The second composition comprises a lower visibility than the first composition.
