DYNAMICALLY GAMUT ADJUSTABLE DISPLAYS
A computing device may include a processor and a display device communicatively coupled to the processor wherein the display device includes a wide gamut mode wherein the wide gamut mode comprises a plurality of different gamut profiles and wherein the display device adjusts from a first gamut profile to a second gamut profile based on a gamut profile associated with an image to be represented on the display device.
System and a method for providing color vision deficiency assistance
The present invention discloses a system and a method for providing color vision deficiency assistance by selectively recoloring pixels of an image frame including unperceivable colors with perceivable colors in real time. In particular, the present invention provides for rescaling the image frame using a first set of rules. Further, a perceivable color space is selected based on one or more parameters. Furthermore, one or more pixels associated with unperceivable colors are identified using a second set of rules. Yet further, the identified one or more pixels are recolored using the selected perceivable color space and a third set of rules. Finally, a corrected image frame comprising perceivable colors is provided.
Corrective data for a reconstructed table
The present application includes devices and methods for using corrective data for a reconstructed table. In some examples, a computing device can generate a key from a reconstructed table, determine corrective data for the reconstructed table based on the generated key, and implement the corrective data to the reconstructed table to generate an updated table.
GENERATING A COLOR MAPPING
Certain examples described herein relate to generating a color mapping between a source color gamut within a source color space and a target color gamut within a target color space. Gamuts may be set based on a color rendering device. In examples, a sequence of forward color transformations that transform the source color gamut is defined, along with a sequence of inverse color transformations that transform the target color gamut. A gamut mapping is applied between the output of the forward color transformations and the output of the inverse color transformations, wherein the color mapping is usable by a computing device to map between the source and target color spaces.
Color mapping
A method for color mapping is disclosed based on obtaining a measurement of one or more characteristics of an imaging system. A set of color mappings are provided and the color mapping is selected based on the measurement. Each of the color mappings enables a mapping from a first color space to Neugebauer Primary area coverage vector space. A method for generating a color mapping is disclosed.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DOSING INK IN DIGITAL MULTICHANNEL PRINTERS
A data processing method, a system and a user interface are disclosed, for dosing ink in a digital printer with at least 6 ink channels. A forward transformation model is obtained or computed for defining a relationship between coordinates of device-dependent ink values across the ink channels and coordinates of device-independent colorimetric values in a color space. An inverse model of the forward transformation model is computed, wherein the inverse model comprises an adjustable constraint on each ink channel. One or more constraints are applied to each ink channel with predetermined and/or user-defined value(s). A target colorimetric value is input to the inverse model. An ink value is computed for each ink channel with the inverse model, wherein each computed ink value corresponds to ink dosage in its respective ink channel and the computed ink values collectively correspond substantially to the target colorimetric value.
Video system, video processing method, program, camera system, and video converter
This video system includes a camera system and a video converter. The camera system includes an image pickup unit that captures a subject and obtains a pixel signal thereof, and a first processing circuit that generates two video signals from the pixel signal while respectively carrying out mutually-different adjustments and transmits transmission information obtained by adding information related to the respective adjustments of the video signals to one of the video signals. The video converter extracts the information related to the respective adjustments of the video signals from the transmission information and includes a second processing circuit that generates, on a basis of these pieces of information related to the adjustments, a restoration pixel signal by inverse-transforming one of the video signals included in the transmission information, and also generates a video signal corresponding to the other one of the video signals by performing an adjustment for the other one of the video signals on this restoration pixel signal.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTER COLOR MANAGEMENT
In some examples, with respect to three-dimensional printer color management, three-dimensional printer native space coordinates of a three-dimensional printer may be mapped to three-dimensional printer printing agent space coordinates of the three-dimensional printer. The three-dimensional printer printing agent space coordinates may be mapped to color space coordinates. The color space coordinates may be mapped to two-dimensional printer printing agent space coordinates of a two-dimensional printer. The two-dimensional printer printing agent space coordinates may be mapped to two-dimensional printer native space coordinates of the two-dimensional printer. A color management protocol of the two-dimensional printer may be utilized, based on the mapping of the three-dimensional printer native space coordinates to the two-dimensional printer native space coordinates, for the three-dimensional printer to print a three-dimensional object.
Information Processing Device and Method, and Program, for Gamut Conversion of Content
A device, method and program may properly perform gamut conversion of content and be applied to a gamut conversion device. A restoration conversion state confirming unit performs confirmation such as gamut conversion state of image data read out from an optical disc and the existence or not of restoration metadata. An information exchange unit communicates with an output device via a communication unit and performs information exchange such as the existence or not of restoration processing functionality and gamut conversion functionality and the like. A determining unit determines whether or not restoration processing is performed with a playing device based on information obtained by the restoration conversion state confirming unit and the information exchange unit. Similarly, the determining unit determines whether or not to perform gamut conversion processing with the playing device based on information obtained by the restoration conversion state confirming unit and the information exchange unit.
