CAMERA COLOR IMAGE PROCESSING
An image processing system receives image data acquired by an imaging device, and separates one or more achromatic colors from one or more chromatic colors in the received image data. The achromatic colors and the chromatic colors are processed based at least on a color temperature and lux to generate an adjusted color appearance for the achromatic colors by applying one or more defined weight values associated with the achromatic colors or the chromatic colors, respectively. The defined weight values associated with the one or more achromatic colors are different than the defined weight values associated with the one or more chromatic colors. A final image is generated using the adjusted color appearance for the one or more achromatic colors and the adjusted color appearance for the one or more achromatic colors that is more aligned with human vision and cognitive systems.
Submersible electronic devices with imaging capabilities
A submersible electronic device such as a waterproof cellular telephone may be provided with an image sensor. The image sensor may capture images of underwater objects. Control circuitry in the submersible electronic device may adjust image contrast and color balance based on information from sensors and other information. The electronic device may have an ambient light sensor. The ambient light sensor may be a color ambient light sensor and may be used in measuring ambient lighting conditions above water and underwater. A depth sensor may be used in measuring the depth of the image sensor and other components of the electronic device underwater. Information on the depth of the image sensor, information on the distance of an underwater object to the image sensor, and angular orientation information for the electronic device and image sensor may be used in color balancing an image.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image capturing unit captures an image including an embedded image that is printed on the basis of image data in which at least a color component has been modulated according to additional information. An adjustment unit adjusts a white balance of the image captured by the image capturing unit on the basis of an adjustment value associated with the embedded image. A processing unit processes image data of the image captured by the image capturing unit whose white balance has been adjusted by the adjustment unit to read the additional information in the image captured by the image capturing unit.
MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND MEDICAL OBSERVATION SYSTEM
A medical image processing apparatus includes: a receiver configured to obtain a captured image resulting from image capture of exciting light that is shed on an observed object and is provided by way of the observed object, and of fluorescent light that is excited by the exciting light and is provided from the observed object; and an image processor configured to perform image processing on the captured image. A light receiving surface of the image sensor is provided with a color filter.
The captured image includes plural pieces of first component information about colors corresponding to the spectral characteristics of the plurality of filter groups, respectively. The image processor is configured to generate second component information by combining at least two pieces of first component information, and perform color correction processing that corrects the plural pieces of first component information based on the second component information.
Detection apparatus for detecting portion satisfying predetermined condition from image, image processing apparatus for applying predetermined image processing on image, detection method, and image processing method
A detection method includes image acquisition processing for acquiring an image; white balance adjustment processing for adjusting a white balance of the image which is acquired in the image acquisition processing; control processing for controlling adjustment content of the white balance in the white balance adjustment processing, on the basis of a specific color serving as a reference; and detection processing for detecting a portion satisfying a predetermined condition relevant to the specific color from the acquired image in which the white balance has not adjusted, on the basis of the image in which the white balance has been adjusted by the adjustment content of the white balance controlled in the control processing.
Imaging reader for, and method of, reading symbol and non-symbol targets with color image processing pipeline having bypassable components
A color image of a target is captured by a color sensor in an imaging reader. A color image processing pipeline processes the captured color image with a plurality of color image processing components to display the image of a target with high fidelity. One or more of the components are bypassed to decode the image of a symbol target to prevent degradation of reader performance.
Image processing apparatus and control method thereof for white balance adjustment
In order to provide a more preferable white balance adjustment, an image processing apparatus obtains an input image, determines a representative point in the input image and a white balance coefficient of the representative point, obtains first information representing the inclination of a surface that includes the representative point and second information representing the inclination of a surface that includes a pixel of interest in the input image, and adjusts white balance of the pixel of interest based on the first information, the second information, and the white balance coefficient.
Systems and methods for automatic white balance
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for performing automatic white balance (AWB). An example device may include a memory and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor may be configured to receive a first image of a scene, measure a first illuminant of the first received image, compare the first illuminant and a first illuminant value, determine the scene is changing between the first received image and a previous image based on the comparison, adjust a first AWB convergence rate to a second AWB convergence rate in response to determining the scene is changing, and converge from a first balancing factor to a second balancing factor for one or more white balance operations based on the second AWB convergence rate.
COLOR ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS AND COLOR ADJUSTMENT METHOD
Input color values corresponding to an input image are received; a color space of the input color values is converted to an LMS color space with three elements, the three elements including a long wavelength (L) element, a medium wavelength (M) element, and a short wavelength (S) element; color values in the LMS color space are grouped into a plurality of groups based on color vision information, each of the groups including color values determined as approximate based on the color vision information; and lightness of color values included in each of the groups is adjusted and an image output device is instructed to apply said adjusted lightness of color values to said input image.
