Image pixel color cast correction
An image processing method, an image forming apparatus, and a storage medium are provided in embodiments of the present disclosure. The image processing method includes acquiring a first color component value and a second color component value of each pixel of a to-be-processed image in a preset color space; determining a color cast pixel according to the first color component value and the second color component value of each pixel; and performing pixel correction on each color cast pixel to obtain a corrected to-be-processed image. In the technical solutions of various embodiment of the present application, the color cast pixel in the to-be-processed image is determined by the first color component value and the second color component value of the pixel, and the pixel correction is performed on the color cast pixel, which removes colored noise in the printed image and improves image printing quality.
Printing background print agents
In an example, a method includes receiving print data indicative of an image to be printed on a substrate. The print data may indicate an image portion in which an image is present and a void portion in which the image is absent. An amount of background print agent to be applied to a region of the substrate corresponding to the locations of the image portion and the void portion on the substrate when the image is printed may be determined. In examples, the amount of background print agent determined to be applied to a region of the substrate corresponding to the location of the void portion on the substrate when the image is printed is greater than the amount of a background print agent to be applied to the region of the substrate corresponding to the location of the image portion on the substrate when the image is printed.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus includes a display control unit that displays, on a display unit, a first area, in which a display image generated from print data included in a print job subjected to printing performed by an image forming apparatus is to be disposed, a second area, which corresponds to a recording medium on which an image to be printed corresponding to the display image is recorded and in which the display image is to be disposed, and a third area, which corresponds to a background of the recording medium and includes the second area, an identification unit that identifies a color of the recording medium specified by attribute information that specifies a process performed by the image forming apparatus in accordance with the print job, a setting unit that sets a background image of the recording medium, and a generation unit that generates the display image.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus includes an obtaining unit that obtains attribute information that specifies a process performed by an image forming apparatus in accordance with a print job including print data, an identification unit that identifies a color of a recording medium specified by the attribute information, a generation unit that generates a display image on a basis of the color of the recording medium identified by the identification unit and the print data included in the print job, and a determination unit that determines, as the color of the recording medium identified by the identification unit, a display color of a drawing area which corresponds to an area of the recording medium for printing the print data and in which the display image generated by the generation unit is to be disposed.
PRINTED MATTER, PRINTED MATTER MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A printed matter includes a recording medium; a chromatic color layer formed, with a chromatic colorant, on the recording medium; a plurality of first regions formed with a transparent material and arranged at intervals on the chromatic color layer; and a plurality of second regions each of which is disposed between adjacent two of the plurality of first region. A first unit material amount calculated by dividing an amount of the transparent material in the plurality of first regions with an area of the plurality of first regions is different from a second unit material amount calculated by dividing an amount of the transparent material in the plurality of second regions with an area of the plurality of second regions.
Image processing apparatus, and image processing method
An image processing apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire image data including reflection characteristics information indicating reflection characteristics of a material with respect to incident light; a calculation unit configured to calculate, from reflection characteristics indicated by the reflection characteristics information corresponding to each pixel included in an area of a predetermined size in an image indicated by the image data, a statistical amount indicating the reflection characteristics of the area with the predetermined size; and a generation unit configured to generate arrangement data representing an arrangement of a structure including a printing material on a recording medium, based on the statistical amount.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes a scanner, a memory, and a processor. The scanner acquires a read image of an original document. The memory stores the read image of the original document that is acquired by the scanner. The processor detects a highlighted region including a region that is highlighted with a chromatic color in the read image of the original document which is stored in the memory and a circled region including a region circled by the chromatic color, and classifies the highlighted region as a region for first processing and classifies the circled region as a region for second processing.
