System and method for synchronizing auxiliary content to a video stream
11483496 · 2022-10-25 ·

A system and method of synchronizing auxiliary content to a video stream is disclosed that uses a block of bit-vectors linked to a target frame in a video steam. The block of bit-vectors consists of a multi-frame sequence of image bit-vectors. The video stream and block of bit-vectors are transmitted to an end user device that uses the bit-vector block to uniquely identify the target frame. The target frame is used to synchronize auxiliary content to the video stream.

Systems and Methods for Improved Production and Presentation of Video Content

Systems and methods for production and presentation of video content are provided. The system receives a camera signal indicative of image data of a scene that includes a transparent panel and receives an overlay signal having at least one visual element. The system generates a first signal based on the processed camera and overlay signals and displays, on a first display, a processed image of the first signal indicative of the at least one visual element overlaid on the image data. The system displays an application window of a second signal on a second display and, based on a user input, relocates the application window from the second display to the overlay signal. The system displays the application window on the first display by transforming the application window utilizing a keying function and overlaying the transformed application window in the processed image of the first signal.

Interactive augmented reality (AR) based video creation from existing video

This disclosure describes a method including determining one or more object clusters from a plurality of frames of the video content. At least one of the one or more object clusters is an object cluster with movement through the plurality of frames. The method includes extracting the determined one or more object clusters from the plurality of frames to generate a set of frames having extracted one or more object clusters and outputting the set of frames having extracted one or more object clusters. This disclosure describes a method including receiving the set of frames having the extracted one or more object clusters, rendering one or more of the set of frames in a live camera feed of a device, and generating video content based on the rendered one or more set of frames and a user interacting with the extracted one or more object clusters.

Generation of alpha masks of video frames

Disclosed is an electronic device and a method to generate alpha masks of video frames in a video comprising a plurality of video frames including a first video frame and a second video frame following the first video frame, where the method comprising; obtaining a first alpha mask of the first video frame; providing a first downscaled video frame, wherein the first downscaled video frame is a lower resolution version of the first video frame; providing a first downscaled alpha mask of the first alpha mask; estimating a first primary coefficient and a first secondary coefficient based on the first downscaled video frame and the first downscaled alpha mask; and generating a second alpha mask for the second video frame based on the first primary coefficient and the first secondary coefficient.

Portable lighting system

A system and, related method, is disclosed for enabling Chroma key compositing using a smart device, wherein an image/video of a subject situated in front of a portable monochromatic background is captured, and simultaneously layered upon a different desired background replacement that will replace only the monochromatic background captured. The portable monochromatic background structure can be an inflatable structure affixed with a plurality of lighting modules configured to ensure a uniform light distribution across the monochromatic background and separately ensure a uniform light distribution on the subject during the image/video capture. Moreover, a software application on a smart device can act as a system platform that enables for automatic light adjustment of the lighting modules on a portable monochromatic background to correct any light imperfections that impede color neutrality on the background, which would otherwise result in the inability to create broadcast quality background replacement content with a smart device using the monochromatic lighting platform disclosed herein.

System and method for emergency call taker mental health improvement

Techniques for emergency call taker mental health improvement are provided. Incident scene related media that captures a visual representation of a scene associated with an incident is received. At least one object shown in the incident related media that may cause emotional distress to an emergency call taker that will view the incident related media is determined. The object is obscured in the incident scene related media to create obscured incident related media. A textual description of the object is generated. The textual description of the object is included in the obscured incident related media. The obscured incident related media is displayed to the emergency call taker.
