Optically Readable Codes in a Content Delivery System
A method, apparatus, and software are provided for using an optically-readable code such as a quick-response (QR) code. The optically-readable code may represent a uniform resource identifier (URI) including parameters that represent a query, such as a query for content and/or other data. The query results may be used to command a content consumption device to record or otherwise obtain an item of content. The optically-readable code may additionally or alternatively be determined based upon a status of the device, such as what content, or portion thereof, is currently being displayed, and/or what error condition is being experienced.

A breath analyzer, a system, and a computer program for administering a breath analysis to a donor and recording a breath analysis result. Embodiments of the invention authenticate that the breath analysis was performed correctly, preserves the breath analysis results by communicating with other devices, and presents the breath analysis results by superimposing them on recorded video data. The breath analyzer includes a breath receptor for receiving a breath sample from the donor, an analyzing element for determining a breath analysis result, a communications element for sending information indicative of the breath analysis result to a recording device manager, and a housing for securing the components in a handheld device. The system comprises the breath analyzer, a recording device manager for synchronizing the recordings, and at least one ancillary camera for recording the breath analysis.

The display unit (2) may be foldable. Furthermore, at least a part of the display unit (2) may be bendable. Moreover, in the first imaging unit (3), an optical system used for image-capturing may be switchable in accordance with a shape of the display unit (2).
User interfaces for electronic devices
Disclosed herein are electronic device display interface embodiments for controlling a camera and for reviewing images captured in the device from the camera. For example, in some embodiments, a device is provided with a display for viewing images to be captured by the camera and to provide a display interface for controlling camera operation, wherein the display interface, when in an image capture mode, is to provide an image capture button with two or more smaller image mode buttons disposed adjacent to the image capture button.

A recording device according to an embodiment includes an imaging data acquisition unit configured to acquire imaging data including video data and audio data, an event detection unit configured to detect occurrence of an event; and a recording control unit configured to record first imaging data including the video data and the audio data in a recording unit when recording of the imaging data in the recording unit is caused by the event detected by the event detection unit, and record second imaging data including the video data and not including the audio data in the recording unit when recording of the imaging data in the recording unit is not caused by the event.
