Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for recording video data of an event. The apparatuses include a processor communicating with memory. The memory stores video data of the event captured by a camera, and the video data includes a series of picture frames of the event. A loop buffer also stores video data of the event captured by the camera. A rule-based engine stored in the memory uses a set of rules to store the contents of the loop buffer in the memory. The apparatus utilizes the loop buffer to provide video data prior to occurrence of the event.

In some embodiments, methods and systems are provided for accessing a surgical dataset including surgical data collected during performance of a surgical procedure. The surgical data can include video data of the surgical procedure. Using the surgical data, a plurality of procedural states associated with the surgical procedure can be determined. For a procedural state of the plurality of procedural states, temporal information can be identified that identifies a part of the video data to be associated with the procedural state. For the procedural state of the plurality of procedural states, electronic data can be generated that characterizes the part of the video data and outputting the electronic data associated with the plurality of procedural states.

A screen recording method includes obtaining operation data of an electronic device and response data generated by the electronic device based on the operation data; obtaining a virtual device image matching the electronic device; and associating the operation data and the response data with the virtual device image according to a pre-determined processing strategy to generate a first video.

A method for changing service within a digital television decoder, the digital decoder including a plurality of tuners, each tuner being capable of receiving a stream of signals including data relating to television services, the method including configuring each tuner for receiving a particular service; restoring, on a screen, a first service corresponding to the service for the reception of which a first tuner has been configured; receiving, via the decoder, a first change of service command with a view to displaying a second service for the reception of which a second tuner has been configured; receiving, via the decoder, a second change of service command with a view to displaying a third service for the reception of which a third tuner has been configured; applying a forced delay before displaying the second service and/or the third service.

A device displays, in a first display region of a camera user interface, a first live view from a first camera. While displaying the first live view from the first camera, the device detects movement of a first user input (e.g., a first contact on a touch-sensitive surface). In accordance with a determination that the movement of the first user input meets first movement criteria, the device moves the first live view in the first display region in accordance with the movement of the first user input, displays a second live view from a second camera, and moves the second live view in the first display region in accordance with the movement of the first user input.

A device displays a camera user interface for recording media images in a plurality of media recording modes. While displaying the camera user interface, the device captures media with one or more cameras. In response to capturing the media, in accordance with a determination that the captured media is consistent with a first media recording mode, the device displays a first prompt in the camera user interface that prompts a user to take one or more actions associated with the first media recording mode; and in accordance with a determination that the captured media is consistent with a second media recording mode, the device displays a second prompt in the camera user interface that prompts the user to take one or more actions associated with the second media recording mode, where the first media recording mode is different from the second media recording mode.

A setting regarding a dynamic range is performed before image capturing, and in a case where a setting indicating a high dynamic range (HDR) is performed, RAW image data is recorded in association with development information corresponding to an HDR, and in a case where a setting indicating a standard dynamic range (SDR) is performed, RAW image data is recorded in association with development information corresponding to an SDR.

A screen recording method includes obtaining operation data of an electronic device and response data generated by the electronic device based on the operation data; obtaining a virtual device image matching the electronic device; and associating the operation data and the response data with the virtual device image according to a pre-determined processing strategy to generate a first video.

This invention relates to a network interface device. A first capture device interfaces with a first external information source to capture first external information. A processor processes the captured first external information and stores it in a first media. The processor initiates the storage of the first captured information at an initial time and completes storage of the first captured information at a completion time, thus providing a stored defined set of first captured information. A transmitter transmits the defined set of stored captured information to a remote location on a network. A remote processing system is disposed at the remote node on the network and includes a database and a receiver for receiving the transmitted defined set of first captured information. A data converter is operable to convert the received defined set of first captured information to a second format. The database stores the set of converted captured information.
