Real-time data acquisition and recording system viewer

A data acquisition and recording system (DARS) and viewer for mobile assets that includes a data encoder, onboard data manager, and at least one local memory module. DARS processes video data from at least one 360 degree camera and stores a compressed record of the data at least once per second in the local memory module. DARS is designed to run in near real-time mode, storing a full record comprising five minutes of data to a remote memory module every five minutes, and in real-time mode, streaming video data to the remote memory module by uploading a record of data at least once per second and up to once every tenth of a second. Remotely located users can view video, audio, and data in various view modes through a web browser or virtual reality device, which provides for quicker emergency response, validate the effectiveness of repairs and rerouting, and monitor crew performance and safety.

The present invention relates to novel methods, tools and systems that provide an individual with the ability to define a personalized portion and evaluate food in real-world situations to offer guidance to the individual on the amount of the food the individual should eat as part of a controlled and consistent diet based on food volume. In particular, the methods, tools and systems of the present invention define food quanta personalized to the user, and further utilizes augmented reality to overlay a selected food quantum on real-world food in order to guide the user to select a definable food quantum, e.g., to achieve a dietary goal.

Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for capturing and recording media in multiple modes

A device displays a camera user interface including a live view from a camera. While displaying the live view from the camera: the device records media images that are captured by the camera, while continuing to display the live view from the camera; and the device further displays representations of a plurality of media images that were recorded while displaying the live view from the camera as frames scrolling across the display in a first direction.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING SELECTIVE BACKTRACKING DATA RECORDING

Systems and methods can support a data processing apparatus. The data processing apparatus can include a data processor that is associated with a data capturing device on a stationary object and/or a movable object. The data processor can receive data in a data flow from one or more data sources, wherein the data flow is configured based on a time sequence. Then, the data processor can receive a control signal, which is associated with a first timestamp, wherein the first timestamp indicates a first time. Furthermore, the data processor can determine a first data segment by applying the first timestamp on the data flow, wherein the first data segment is associated with a time period in the time sequence that includes the first time.

Systems and Methods for Synchronizing Surface Data Management Operations for Virtual Reality

An exemplary virtual reality system includes a management device, a synchronization device, and a gatekeeper device communicatively coupled to the management device and the synchronization device by way of a network. The gatekeeper device is configured to receive, at a particular time, a frame of a surface data frame sequence that the gatekeeper device is responsible for processing. The gatekeeper device is also configured to transmit, to the synchronization device, the particular time at which the gatekeeper device received the frame, and to receive, from the synchronization device, a timeframe during which the gatekeeper device is to transmit the frame. The gatekeeper device is further configured to transmit, to the management device during the timeframe received from the synchronization device, the frame of the surface data frame sequence. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed.
