MULTI-DEVICE LIP SYNCHRONIZATION METHOD AND DEVICE
20200099734 · 2020-03-26 · ·

A multi-device lip synchronization method and a device. A secondary device receives an RTCP packet sent by a primary device. The secondary device corrects an STC of the secondary device based on a PCR in the RTCP packet, a program clock frequency of the primary device, a program clock frequency of the secondary device, and an RTCP delay. Then the secondary device receives RTPs published by the primary device, splice the RTPs into a complete audio data frame, and store the audio data frame into a PCM buffer of the secondary device. The secondary device outputs the audio data frame in the PCM buffer.

The present technology relates to a data processing device, a data processing method, a program, and a data processing system which enable recording of meaningful sound for intermittent images. A data processing device includes a sound extracting unit that extracts one or more sound blocks to be reproduced together with video data based on the plurality of images, on the basis of a predetermined characteristic quantity from sound data corresponding to sound captured within a period in which a plurality of intermittent images has been captured. The present technology is applicable to, for example, a recording device that performs interval imaging.

Neighbor based signaling of intra prediction modes

A device for coding video data is configured to determine that a current block of video data is coded using an intra prediction mode; add an intra prediction mode of a first neighboring block of the current block to a most probable mode candidate list for the current block; add an intra prediction mode for a second neighboring block of the current block to the most probable mode candidate list for the current block; add an intra prediction mode for a third neighboring block of the current block to the most probable mode candidate list for the current block; and code the current block of video data using an intra prediction mode.

A display device includes: an image input unit configured to receive an image signal; a frame skip detector configured to detect a frame skip in the image signal; a frame skip compensation adjuster configured to determine information indicating whether to perform frame interpolation, interpolation input frame information, and an interpolation time, based on the frame skip detected by the frame skip detector; a frame interpolator configured to generate an interpolation frame, based on the information indicating whether to perform frame interpolation, the interpolation input frame information, and the interpolation time; and an image output unit configured to output an image signal including the interpolation frame corresponding to the interpolation time.

Method and device for dating camera images

A method for dating images obtained by at least one camera equipping a vehicle includes acquiring a reference signal including time information and generating a modulated signal in response to the reference signal. The modulated signal has at least one retiming pulse with a retiming period which that is different from a base period of the modulated signal. The method further includes, for each camera, acquiring images at a frequency depending on the frequency of the modulated signal, each image being associated with a timestamp provided by the camera, and determining the time difference between the timestamps of two successive images of the camera. If the time difference determined between said timestamps is different from the base period of the modulated signal, the method assigns a reference date to said images depending on the time information of the reference signal.

Among other things, embodiments of the present disclosure improve the functionality of electronic messaging and imaging software and systems by automating the client-side transcoding of video data based on content. For example, an appropriate transcoding configuration can be selected for video data having complex motion or textures. Accordingly, video quality can be improve when complex motions or textures are present.

IMAGE COMPRESSION APPARATUS AND METHOD

Provided are an image compression method performed by an apparatus including at least one processor and at least one memory that stores instructions executable by the at least one processor. The method includes, receiving an event information of a captured image; encoding an image frame from the captured image; generating a meta-frame by encoding a mapping table corresponding to the event information; generating a transmission packet by combining the meta-frame with the encoded image frame; and transmitting the generated transmission packet, wherein the mapping table includes a first mapping table for encoding an object type for classifying at least one object included in the event information and a second mapping table for encoding a situation class for classifying a situation of the at least one object.

System and methods for synchronizing supplemental media content to media content being provided by a different content source. The systems and methods may identify media content from user input, and determine a plurality of associated supplementary media. By monitoring and interpreting a data stream containing information about the primary media content, the systems and methods may interpret indicia of content ceasing and resuming and similarly cease and resume playback of the supplemental media in response, preserving the synchronicity of the multiple content sources.
