System and method for presenting virtual reality content to a user
10659748 · 2020-05-19 · ·

This disclosure describes a system configured to present primary and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content to a user. Primary virtual reality content may be displayed to a user, and, responsive to the user turning his view away from the primary virtual reality content, a sensory cue is provided to the user that indicates to the user that his view is no longer directed toward the primary virtual reality content, and secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be displayed to the user. Primary virtual reality content may resume when the user returns his view to the primary virtual reality content. Primary virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's interaction with the secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content. Secondary, tertiary, etc., virtual reality content may be adjusted based on a user's progression through the primary virtual reality content, or interaction with the primary virtual reality content.

AUTOMATIC VIDEO EDITING USING BEAT MATCHING DETECTION
20200143839 · 2020-05-07 ·

The subject disclosure relates to techniques for automatically editing multimedia content and in particular, to producing expert quality multimedia compositions that match musical transitions with visual transitions and effects. In some aspects, a process of the disclosed technology includes steps for receiving image content items, receiving a cut vector including at least a first-cut time and a second-cut time, and automatically mixing the image content items to produce an edited multimedia sequence, wherein a begin time of the edited multimedia sequence corresponds with the first-cut time, and an end time of the edited multimedia sequence corresponds with the second-cut time. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

Method for producing media file and electronic device thereof
10645306 · 2020-05-05 · ·

A method for producing a media file in an electronic device is provided. The method includes detecting an event during recording of media frames, determining at least one effect to be applied on the media frames, applying the determined effect on at least one of at least one first media frame from a first set of media frames and at least one second media frame from a second set of media frames, and generating a media file comprising the first and second sets of the media frames.

AROMA SHARING SYSTEM AND AROMA-ADDED CONTENT SHARING SYSTEM
20200084411 · 2020-03-12 ·

This system includes an olfactory display in which a plurality of aroma source cartridges can be loaded, a terminal device that controls the olfactory display, and a server connected to the terminal device via a network. The terminal device includes a content reproducer that reproduces an aroma-added content downloaded from the server. Aroma reproduction information includes aroma numbers standardized to specify types of aromas. The content reproducer determines which one of the plurality of aroma source cartridges loaded in the olfactory display is to be used to reproduce an aroma based on the aroma number, and allows the aroma to be emitted from the olfactory display based on the aroma reproduction information in synchronization with video and/or sound.

MOBILE ROBOT, REMOTE TERMINAL, CONTROL PROGRAM FOR MOBILE ROBOT, CONTROL PROGRAM FOR REMOTE TERMINAL, CONTROL SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD FOR MOBILE ROBOT, AND CONTROL METHOD FOR REMOTE TERMINAL
20200084423 · 2020-03-12 ·

A mobile robot including an image pickup unit, further includes an accumulation unit configured to accumulate imaging data taken in the past, a reception unit configured to receive designation of a spatial area from a remote terminal, and a processing unit configured, when it is possible to shoot the spatial area received by the reception unit by the image pickup unit, to perform shooting and transmit obtained imaging data to the remote terminal, and when the shooting is impossible, to transmit imaging data including an image of the spatial area accumulated in the accumulation unit to the remote terminal and start a moving process in order to shoot the spatial area by the image pickup unit.

Audio/visual recording apparatus, audio/visual recording and playback system and methods for the same

An audio/visual (A/V) recording apparatus comprises an A/V input, a memory configured for recording A/V signals received from the A/V input, a locator configured to determine a location of the A/V recording apparatus when an A/V recording is taking place to provide location information based on localized location inputs and a tagger configured to tag the recording in the memory with the location information.

System and method for source script and video synchronization interface

A script synchronization interface system is disclosed for synchronizing a script, shot properties, and one or more video files by mapping associated metadata. The script synchronization interface system includes an interactive script section, an interactive video section, and an interactive shot section. The interactive script section includes synchronized script dialog that is selectable by an individual word linked to a video frame and a combination of shot set-up and take information associated with the selected word in the script dialog. The interactive video section includes a video player that plays a synchronized video. The synchronized video is linked to synchronized script dialog in the interactive script section and a combination of shot set-up and take information associated with the selected word in the script dialog. An interactive shot section may also be included that contains selectable vertical line segments, on-screen actor information, shot set-up information, and take numbers.

VIDEO CONTENT SYNCHRONISATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

A method of video content synchronisation includes the steps of displaying a video content item on a first display, generating a virtual environment separate from the video content item for display, detecting a predetermined cue associated with a predetermined time in the playback of the video content item, and displaying at least part of the virtual environment, but not on the first display, where the displayed state of the at least part of the virtual environment changes in response to the detected predetermined cue.

Systems and methods for intelligently synchronizing events in visual content with musical features in audio content
10560657 · 2020-02-11 · ·

Systems for synchronizing events or transitions in visual content with musical features in audio content are configured to obtain audio and visual content; determine a minimum, maximum, and/or a target display duration for items of visual content; determine a first playback-time in the first audio content to associate with a start-of-display time for the first visual content; identify a first timeframe in the first audio content corresponding to a range of acceptable end-of-display times for the first visual content; identify musical features within the first timeframe; identify a candidate musical feature among the identified musical features in accordance with a hierarchy; and/or define a first candidate end-of-display time that aligns with the playback time of the candidate musical feature. A set of candidate end-of-display times are defined for multiple visual content items in a single multimedia project, the set identified by seeking a solution that increases rank among the hierarchy.
