IMAGE APPARATUS WITH LOCKING OPERATION FOR SERIAL DATA
20200106986 · 2020-04-02 ·

An imaging apparatus allows a clock data recovery device to reestablish reception of data even when the clock data recovery device has failed to lock a phase. A reception unit includes a locking unit configured to perform a locking operation for receiving the data and a detection unit configured to detect a lock state of the locking unit. A control unit controls performing of the locking operation again by the locking unit in a case where a lock is not achieved, based on a detection result detected by the detection unit.

A broadcast management system creates, manages, and streams a broadcast of an event from videos captured from multiple cameras. A video capture system comprising multiple cameras captures videos of the event and transmits the videos to a broadcast management server. The broadcast management server generates a website or other graphical interface that simultaneously displays the captured videos in a time-synchronized manner. A broadcast manager user creates a broadcast by selecting which video to output to the broadcast at any given time. A broadcast map is stored for each broadcast that includes all of the broadcast decisions made by the broadcast manager user such that the broadcast can be recreated at a later time by applying the broadcast map to the raw videos. Using a viewer client, viewers can browse or search for broadcasts and select a broadcast for viewing.

Crowd-based audio/video experiences with mobile devices

A system for providing group performance using a set of client devices. The time frame of reference of individual client devices of the set of client devices can be synchronized to the host time frame of reference. The individual client devices may effectuate the presentation of the content of the group performance predetermined points in time with respect to the host time frame of reference. Audio and/or visual content of the content provided by the individual client devices is based on the real-world location of the individual client devices. The content provided can be monitored to check if the content is presented at the predetermined points in time. The content provided is adjusted such that the content is provided at the more predetermined points in time. The presentation of the content in a synchronized manner results in the group performance.

Image capturing apparatus and image capturing method

In a high speed image capturing state, a camera signal processing circuit is not needed to perform a signal process at a high screen rate, but at a regular screen rate. In the high speed image capturing mode, raw data of 240 fps received from an image sensor 101 are recorded on a recording device 111 through a conversion processing section 201 and a recording device controlling circuit 210. Raw data that have been decimated and size-converted are supplied to a camera signal processing circuit 203 through a pre-processing circuit 202 and an image being captured is displayed on a display section 112 with a signal for which a camera process has been performed. In a reproducing state, raw data are read from the recording device 111 at a low screen rate according to a display performance of the display section 112 and the raw data that have been read are processed are processed by the pre-processing circuit 202 and the camera signal processing circuit 203 and a reproduced image is displayed by the display section 112.

Clock synchronization for playback of multimedia files

A clock synchronizing system and method for playback of a multimedia file is provided. A first device receives the multimedia file that includes at least an audio component and a video component. A second device receives the multimedia file from the first device. During a playback of the multimedia file, the first device renders the audio component by way of a first multimedia player and the second device renders the video component by way of a second multimedia player. The first device further transmits periodic clock information to the second device. The second device synchronizes a clock of the second multimedia player with a clock of the first multimedia player, based on the periodic clock information.

Method, apparatus and system for synchronizing audiovisual content with inertial measurements

A method, apparatus and system for synchronizing audiovisual content with inertial outputs for content reproduced on a mobile content device include, in response to a vibration of the mobile content device, receiving a recorded audio signal and a corresponding recorded inertial signal generated by the vibration. The recorded signals are each processed to determine a timestamp for a corresponding peak in each of the recorded signals. A time distance between the timestamp of the recorded audio signal and the timestamp of the recorded inertial signal is determine and inertial signals for content reproduced on the mobile content device are shifted by an amount of time equal to the determined time distance between the timestamp of the recorded audio signal and the timestamp of the recorded inertial signal.

Image processing apparatus, image pickup device, image processing method, and program

An image pickup device which captures sound and a moving image prevents deterioration in a reproduction quality. A scene change detector detects a frame at the time of a scene change from among a plurality of frames imaged at a predetermined frame rate as a detection frame. A frame rate converting unit converts a frame rate of the frame imaged outside a detection to a lower frame rate. A video reproduction time setting unit sets a reproduction time when reproduction is performed at the lower frame rate as a video reproduction time. An audio reproduction time setting unit sets an audio reproduction time at constant intervals for sounds recorded at constant intervals outside the detection period and sets an audio reproduction time in synchronization with the video reproduction time corresponding to the detection frame relative to sound recorded in the detection period.

Accessing programs using networked digital video recording devices

Access to programs using network connected digital video recording devices is disclosed. A DVR causes display of a content guide including a unit identification area. When the unit identification area is updated, the content guide also updates to reflect programs available on the currently selected DVR. The content guide of a remotely connected DVR can thus be displayed, from which programs are selected for playback. Playback can be resumed from a point at which a viewer terminated viewing, either at the local or remote location, or from the beginning of the program.

System and method for source script and video synchronization interface

A script synchronization interface system is disclosed for synchronizing a script, shot properties, and one or more video files by mapping associated metadata. The script synchronization interface system includes an interactive script section, an interactive video section, and an interactive shot section. The interactive script section includes synchronized script dialog that is selectable by individual word. A selected word in the synchronized script dialog within the interactive script section is linked to a video frame and a combination of shot set-up and take information associated with the selected word in the script dialog. The interactive video section includes a video player that plays a synchronized video. The synchronized video in the interactive video section is linked to synchronized script dialog in the interactive script section and a combination of shot set-up and take information associated with the selected word in the script dialog. The interactive shot section includes selectable vertical line segments, on-screen actor information, shot set-up information, and take numbers.
