CORRECTING ENGAGEMENT OF A USER IN A VIDEO CONFERENCE
Correcting engagement of a user in a video conference includes: receiving video data of a user of a participant device of a video conference; determining that one or more visual characteristics of the video data satisfy one or more criteria; and displaying, by the participant device, a visual overlay in response to the one or more criteria being satisfied.
Communication and Monitoring System
An audio-video communication system comprises a wireless exterior module located proximate an entrance, a computerized controller running a software application, and a remote peripheral device. The wireless exterior module includes a proximity sensor for detecting a person at the entrance, a video camera for recording an image of the person at the entrance, a microphone for recording the person at the entrance, a speaker for playing audio to the person at the entrance, a transmitter for communicating sounds and images of the person at the entrance, and a receiver for receiving communications at the wireless exterior module. The computerized controller is disposed in wireless electronic communication with the wireless exterior module via the transmitter and the receiver of the wireless exterior module. The remote peripheral device is configured to electronically communicate with the computerized controller for viewing an image from the video camera communicated from the wireless exterior module.
TWO-WAY CAMERA OPERATION
A computing system includes a first camera, a second camera, a microphone, and a display. The computing system is configured to independently activate the first camera and/or the second camera. The computing system first receives a user input initiating a two-way camera operation using both the first camera and the second camera. In response to the user input, the computing system activates the first camera and generates a first visualization, displaying a first image generated by the first camera, and activates the second camera and generates a second visualization, displaying a second image generated by the second camera. Both the first visualization and the second visualization are simultaneously displayed on the display of the computing system, while functions of each of the first camera and second camera can be started, stopped paused unpaused or modified individually.
ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
To suppress image quality degradation due to artifacts. Electronic equipment includes a display unit, an imaging unit disposed on a side opposite to a display surface of the display unit, and a signal processing unit. The imaging unit includes a plurality of on-chip lenses and a plurality of pixels, in which the on-chip lens includes a first on-chip lens, the plurality of pixels includes a first pixel, the first pixel is disposed to overlap the first on-chip lens, and the first pixel includes a plurality of photoelectric conversion units. The signal processing unit processes signals output from the plurality of pixels.
Method and system for assisting a user who is looking at a screen of a user device
A method for assisting a user, who is looking at a screen of a user device, to focus on a camera region of the screen includes receiving image data of the user, the image data being captured by a camera of the user device arranged to the screen close to the camera region; determining user input data indicative of that the user wants assistance to focus on the camera region; determining, based on the user input, gaze tracking data of the user looking at the screen, wherein the gaze tracking data are representative for a gaze area on the screen, at which the user is looking at a time of the user input or shortly before the user input; and displaying a screen content in the gaze area of the screen in the camera region.
Dynamic activation of under-display camera
A computer-implemented method is used for each of two or cameras on a device, where a first camera of the two or cameras is located under a display of the device. The method further includes defining, for each camera, a best effect region on the display including a first best effect region for the first camera. The method also includes identifying, for each of one or more feeds, a feed display area including a first feed display area, where each feed display location uses a portion of the display. The method includes activating the first camera for a first feed, wherein the first feed has a first feed display area that overlaps the first best effect region.
A METHOD OF EMBEDDING AN IMAGING DEVICE WITHIN A DISPLAY
A display unit including a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of optical layers and an imaging device. The imaging device is aligned to a portion of the display unit, the portion configured to transmit more than 10% of light rays to the imaging device. A method of assembling the same is also provided.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
Electronic apparatuses with suppressed deterioration image quality and reduced bezel width are disclosed. In one example, an electronic apparatus includes a display unit, imaging optical systems, and an image acquisition unit. The display unit has a displayable region that includes display optical systems disposed in an array in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction. The imaging optical systems are disposed on a side opposite to a display surface of the display unit and overlapped with the displayable region in a third direction intersecting the first direction and the second direction, and include first and second imaging optical systems with different coordinates in at least one of the first direction and the second direction. The image acquisition unit acquires image data on the basis of information acquired by the first imaging optical system and the second imaging optical system.
Display panel and electronic device
The present invention discloses a display device and a manufacturing method thereof, the display device has a camera region and a displaying region surrounding the camera region, and has a cover plate; a transparent release agent layer disposed on the cover plate and is located in the camera region; a display function structural layer disposed on a surface of the cover plate with the transparent release agent layer; a protective adhesive layer disposed on the display function structural layer, and the protective adhesive layer having a first through hole corresponding to a region of the transparent release agent layer; the display function structural layer having a second through hole corresponding to the region of the transparent release agent layer.
EYE CONTACT ENABLING DEVICE FOR VIDEO CONFERENCING
A device and system can physically position a camera lens between the eyes of the image of the person onscreen in a video conference. To position the lens, a mechanical device may position or move the camera lens. The mechanical device can include a movable armature that can move a small camera head (i.e., a lens with or without supporting electronics) from a first position of the computer monitor (e.g., the frame of the monitor) to a second position onscreen. The second position can place the lens near or over the image of the other party, for example, between the eyes of the onscreen image of the other party.
