MULTI-PARTICIPANT LIVE COMMUNICATION USER INTERFACE

An electronic device is disclosed. The device can display a live video communication user interface of a live video communication application that includes participant affordances corresponding to participants. In response to detecting an input that corresponds to a request to initiate a process of starting a new live communication session, the device can: in accordance with the input corresponding to selection of the first participant affordance, initiate a process of starting a new live communication session that includes a group of three or more participants; and in accordance with the input corresponding to selection of the new session affordance, initiate a process for selecting two or more participants and start a new live communication session that includes a participant associated with the device and the selected participants.

CAMERA AUTOMATED ORIENTATION WITH MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT TO DISPLAY PANEL

A camera integrates a magnet at one end of a cylindrical housing to magnetically attract and attach the camera to a front side of a peripheral display, such as to support a video conference through an information handling system interfaced with the display. Camera orientation at a display panel front face is detected, such as with an accelerometer or with analysis of a visual image captured by the camera module, so that the camera orientation is presented with an orientation indicator at the camera front face, such as an LED that illuminates with a predetermined color to indicate an upright vertical orientation. In one alternative embodiment, a gimble interfaced with the camera module and cylindrical housing actuates to adjust the camera module to the upright vertical orientation.

REVERSIBLE CHARGEABLE CAMERA AND DOCK WITH REAR WALL PRIVACY

A camera integrates a magnet at one end of a housing to magnetically attract and attach the camera to a front side of a peripheral display, such as to support a video conference through an information handling system interfaced with the display. A camera dock couples to a top side of the display and includes a back privacy support having an area that blocks the camera module from accepting external light when the camera is placed in the dock with the camera module aligned towards the back privacy support. An end user places the camera with a field of view directed in front of the display to capture visual images and flips the camera module to face the back privacy support to secure the camera against capture of visual images.

CAMERA WITH DOCK HAVING AUTOMATED ALIGNMENT

A camera integrates a magnet at one end of a housing to magnetically attract and attach the camera to a front side of a peripheral display, such as to support a video conference through an information handling system interfaced with the display. Camera position at a display dock is biased to an upright orientation by opposing polarity magnets included in the camera and the dock. The opposing polarity magnets further align a wireless charger of the dock with a wireless charger receiver of the camera to provide wireless charging of the camera from the dock.

CAMERA WITH MAGNET ATTACHMENT TO DISPLAY PANEL AND LIGHTGUIDE HOUSING

A camera integrates a magnet at one end of a housing to magnetically attract and attach the camera to a front side of a peripheral display, such as to support a video conference through an information handling system interfaced with the display. The camera has a housing of a light guide material, such as an extruded acrylic, that guides light from the display panel to the front of the camera. A camera dock having a charging light indicator illuminates from the rear of the camera through the light guide material to the front of the camera to present a charging state of the camera in the dock.

CAMERA FRONT TOUCH SENSOR TO CONTROL VIDEO STREAM

A camera integrates a magnet at one end of a housing to magnetically attract and attach the camera to a front side of a peripheral display, such as to support a video conference through an information handling system interfaced with the display. A touch sensor disposed at the camera housing, such as at the front face surface encircling the camera module, detects a single finger touch to command a change between communication of video stream images and a static stored image from the camera. Communication of a static image by the camera maintains a wireless local area network interface for the camera so that a rapid change back to video stream images may be accomplished without restarting the wireless communication interface.

CAMERA WITH VIDEO STREAM DISABLEMENT RESPONSIVE TO MOVEMENT

A camera integrates a magnet at one end of a housing to magnetically attract and attach the camera to a front side of a peripheral display, such as to support a video conference through an information handling system interfaced with the display. Camera position movement at a display panel front face is detected, such as with a touchscreen of the display panel, and accelerometer or an infrared curtain presented from the camera dock along the display panel front face. Audio and visual information communicated from the camera is altered when movement is detected at the camera, such as muting a microphone of the camera and cutting off capture of visual images by the camera module.

Under-display camera synchronization with display pixel operation

An example image capture device includes memory configured to store display content and image information received from a camera sensor, the camera sensor being configured to receive light through at least a portion of a display. The image capture device includes one or more processors coupled to the memory. The one or more processors are configured to determine a camera sensor blanking period. The one or more processors are configured to control the display to display content via one or more of a plurality of pixels in the at least a portion of the display during the camera sensor blanking period. The one or more processors are configured to control the display to not display content via the one or more of the plurality of pixels outside of the camera sensor blanking period.

A method for conducting a virtual three dimensional (3D) video conference between multiple participants, the method may include receiving by a user device of a first participant of the virtual 3D video conference, reference second participant 3D representation information for generating a second participant 3D representation under different constraints. The different constraints include at least one out of (a) a touch up constraint, (b) a makeup constraint, and (c) one or more circumstances constraint. The method may also include receiving, by the user device of the first participant and during the 3D video conference call, second participant constraints metadata indicative of one or more current constraints regarding a second participant; updating, based on the second participant constraints metadata, and by the user device of the first participant, a 3D participant representation of the second participant, within a first representation of virtual 3D video conference environment; and generating an avatar of the second participate based on 3D participant representation information of the second participant.

An input relay unit receives speech data indicating a speech entered by a speaker. An input relay unit receives a confirmation request that is output in response to a predetermined operation of the speaker. A character string relay unit controls translation of the speech indicated by the speech data, which has been received before the reception of the confirmation request, to be started in response to the reception of the confirmation request. A display control unit controls a display unit to display a screen including an image obtained by overlaying a character string representing a translation result of a speech indicated by speech data that has been received before the reception of the confirmation request on an image captured by a capturing unit.
