A water level gauge that indicates the water level in a tree stand is provided herein. The gauge includes a component that floats on the water within the tree stand, a shaft with indicator markings attached to the float component, a transparent housing through which the shaft passes, an indicator line on the housing that, when compared to the indicator markings on the shaft, indicates the level of the water in the tree stand. An attachment apparatus is also provided that attaches the present invention to the tree stand.

One embodiment provides a system, including: an ornament assembly comprising: a fluid pump therein, wherein the fluid pump comprises an inlet and a discharge; a control mechanism operatively coupled to the fluid pump, wherein the control mechanism controls the fluid pump; a power source operatively coupled to control mechanism; and at least a first aperture and a second aperture; the first aperture being connected to the inlet of the fluid pump and having a connection mechanism for connecting a fluid transfer device; and the second aperture being connected to the discharge of the fluid pump and having a connection mechanism for connecting a fluid transfer device. A hydroponic feed indication apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus may include a hollow body having a distal body portion and a proximal body portion. The distal body portion may be inserted into a tree stand, and the proximal body portion may receive fluid via a proximal body portion top end. The apparatus may further include an anode electrode and a cathode electrode disposed at a distal body portion exterior surface. The anode electrode may move along a distal body portion length via a first elongated slit disposed on the distal body portion. The cathode electrode may move along the distal body portion length via a second elongated slit disposed on the distal body portion. The apparatus may further include a fill level indicator disposed on the body. The fill level indicator may activate when the fluid shorts the anode electrode and the cathode electrode.
