IMAGE GENERATING UNIT AND IMAGE PROJECTING APPARATUS
An image generating unit includes a fixed member on which one of a driving magnet and a coil is provided; a heat radiating part on which the other of the driving magnet and the coil is provided; and an image generating part, to which the heat radiating part is attached, configured to receive illumination light to generate an image.
Structured-light scanning system and method
A structured-light scanning system includes a plurality of switchable projectors that respectively generate emitted lights with a predetermined pattern, each switchable projector being capable of switchably generating either a two-dimensional (2D) emitted light or a three-dimensional (3D) emitted light; an optical alignment device that aligns the emitted lights to generate an aligned light, which is projected onto and reflected from a surface of an object, resulting in a reflected light; and an image sensor that detects the reflected light.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
A method for controlling a display apparatus, the method comprising, displaying, in a first mode, a first image based on received image data having first resolution on a display surface at a first display size corresponding to the first resolution, displaying, in a second mode, a second image based on the image data having second resolution smaller than the first resolution on the display surface at a second display size corresponding to the second resolution, converting, when the display apparatus accepts the operation of increasing the second display size in the second mode, the first resolution of image data to third resolution corresponding to the operation, displaying a third image based on the image data having the third resolution on the display surface.
Display control system and display device
A display control system and a display device. The display control system (1) comprises a control unit for controlling a light source (2) to be in a bright field and a dark field alternately in the same frame of data, and controlling the status switching of a light valve of a spatial light modulator (3) to be within the time of the dark field of the light source. The display device comprises the display control system (1). The control unit controls the bright field and the dark field of the light source, so that the light valve of the spatial light modulator (3) has a relatively long switching time, thereby increasing the switching speed of the light valve, reducing the difficulty for manufacturing the spatial light modulator (3), and improving the accuracy for the spatial light modulator (3) to modulate the light source.
System and method for increased spatial resolution
The present disclosure generally relates to a projection system with increased spatial resolution. The projection system includes one or more light sources, a spatial light modulator configured to reflect light received from the one or more light sources to generate a plurality of sub-images of a composite image, and an optical system configured to reflect each of the plurality of sub-images the sub-images at a different portion of a projection surface. By projecting the single composite image using a plurality of sub-images projected at different times and/or locations from one another, the composite full image has a higher resolution as compared to the resolution defined by the hardware of the spatial light modulator and light sources.
Display system
A display system includes: a light source system configured to emit light beams; a scanner configured to scan the light beams on the surface of a spatial light modulator in the form of a light spot, the light spot corresponding to multiple pixels of the spatial light modulator; a spatial light modulator configured to modulate, according to an image modulation signal from a processing and control system, the light spot projected onto the spatial light modulator by the scanner to output image light; a processing and control system configured to output a light source timing modulation signal to a light source modulation device according to an input image signal and output an image modulation signal to the spatial light modulator; and a light source modulation device configured to adjust the output brightness of the light source system according to the light source timing modulation signal.
Display apparatus and its control method
A display apparatus configured to display an image corresponding to an image signal includes a receiver configured to receive a first command irregularly transmitted from outside, a transmitter configured to transmit the first command and a second command for requesting an operation of the image signal for each frame to another display apparatus, and a controller configured to cause the transmitter to transmit the first command and the second command to the other display apparatus for each frame.
Display Device and System
A logic circuit that can output a stream of sequential values, representing pixel position values, for a pixelated display device such as a spatial light modulator. The logic circuit may comprise an advanced integrated circuit such as a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) or an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC). The stream of sequential values that is output by the logic circuit can be used by another logic circuit to calculate corresponding values of a software function, for populating those pixels of the pixelated display device. The software function can be, for example, a lens function or a grating function, which might be combined with a hologram, such as a computer-generated hologram (CGH), for display on the pixelated display device.
Method for controlling dual-input display device with power-saving mode, and display device
A method for controlling a display device having a first interface to which a first image signal is inputted and a second interface to which a second image signal is inputted from an image supply device having an auto sleep function is provided. The method includes: shifting to a sleep mode in response to a continuous stop of the first image signal for a first time, in a first mode in which a first image based on the first image signal is displayed on a screen; and shifting to the sleep mode in response to a continuous stop of the second image signal for a second time that is shorter than the first time, in a second mode in which a second image based on the second image signal is displayed on the screen.
VIDEO IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
The visibility of the external scene from the inside of the transmissive transparent screen when the video image is not displayed and the visibility of the video image from the outside when the video image is displayed are satisfied.
