The projection position guiding method includes: projecting a projection content onto the projection target by the projector to generate a projection image, the projection content includes multiple positioning grid points arranged at intervals; capturing the projection target by the image capturing device to generate a captured image, and the captured image includes at least part of the projection image; and determining whether the positioning grid points satisfy multiple recognizable conditions according to the projection image in the captured image, when it is determined that the positioning grid points include at least one unrecognizable grid point that does not satisfy at least one of the recognizable conditions, adjusting a color of the at least one unrecognizable grid point in the projection content.
System and method for a six-primary wide gamut color system
Systems and methods for a multi-primary color system for display. A multi-primary color system increases the number of primary colors available in a color system and color system equipment. Increasing the number of primary colors reduces metameric errors from viewer to viewer. A six-primary color system includes Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta primaries. The systems of the present invention maintain compatibility with existing color systems and equipment and provide systems for backwards compatibility with older color systems.
HIGH LUMINANCE PROJECTION DISPLAYS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Projection displays include a highlight projector and a main projector. Highlights projected by the highlight projector boost luminance in highlight areas of a base image projected by the main projector. Various highlight projectors including steerable beams, holographic projectors and spatial light modulators are described.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND IMAGE PROJECTION METHOD
An image processing apparatus generates, from a mixed image of projection images projected from a plurality of projection devices, separated images for respective pieces of color information, on the basis of a color model. For the color model, the pieces of color information of the projection images changed according to spectral characteristics of the projection devices and an image pickup device for acquiring the captured image and an attenuation coefficient are used as parameters, and a color separation processing section generates the separated images for the respective pieces of color information on the basis of the color model, by using parameters that minimize the difference between the color information of the captured image and color information estimated by the color model. The image processing apparatus becomes able to accurately separate projection images from the captured image of the mixed image including a plurality of projection images.
Image processing device, projection system, image processing method, and image processing program
An image processing device for a projection system includes an image generation unit and a brightness acquisition unit, and the image generation unit generates data for projecting the specific image, as a first portion in the first data for display, which corresponds to the first superimposed region, generates a second portion in the first data for display, which corresponds to the first non-superimposed region based on first input image data in the data of the projection target image, which corresponds to the first non-superimposed region, and the second brightness, and generates a third portion in the second data for display, which corresponds to the second superimposed region based on second input image data in the data of the projection target image, which corresponds to the second superimposed region, and the first brightness.
Control method for image projection system and image projection system
A range of images projected by a first projector group and a range of images projected by a second projector group are set to coincide with each other. A first setting screen including a first region for setting positions of images projected by a respective plurality of projectors included in the first projector group and a second region for setting positions of images projected by a respective plurality of projectors included in the second projector group is displayed. Operation by a user on the first setting screen is received. The positions of the images projected by the respective plurality of projectors included in the first projector group and the positions of the images projected by the respective plurality of projectors included in the second projector group are set.
Projection system and self-adaptive adjustment method thereof
A projection system and a self-adaptive adjustment method are provided. The projection system includes a projection device, an image capturing device, and a processing device. The projection device sequentially projects sub-pattern arrays of a pattern array to a projection region of a projection surface. The image capturing device sequentially captures the sub-pattern arrays projected on the projection surface to output pattern images. The processing device analyzes the pattern images to obtain pattern coordinates and a pattern order of projected patterns in each pattern image. The processing device determines at least a part of the projected patterns to be effective patterns according to the pattern coordinates and the pattern order, and adjusts the projection device according to the effective patterns. The projection system and the self-adaptive adjustment method provide good projection quality.
PROJECTION SYSTEM, PROJECTION METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
A projection system performs projection so that a projection range of a first projection portion and a projection range of a second projection portion are partially overlapped with each other, and includes a processor configured to: perform a control of shifting, from the first state as defined herein, to the second state as defined herein; and execute a control of adjusting a relative position between a first projection range of the first projection portion and a second projection range of the second projection portion in accordance with a received instruction.
PROJECTION SYSTEM AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
The invention relates to a projection system and an operation method thereof. The projection system includes multiple projection devices and a central control platform. The central control platform is coupled to the projection devices. The central control platform delivers a data signal and a selection signal to the projection devices. The projection devices generate a decoding result according to the selection signal. At least one projection device is selected from the projection devices to receive the data signal according to the decoding result. The at least one projection device selected from the projection devices generates a projection image corresponding to the data signal. In the invention, one or more projection devices are selected as selected projection devices through signal features of the selection signal, thereby realizing a one-to-many communication mechanism for controlling the projection devices.
