A method and device for adjusting a projected image are provided. In the method, a distance between a mobile terminal and a projection screen is acquired (S102); and at least one of a display area or a display orientation of a projected image on the projection screen is adjusted at least according to the distance between the mobile terminal and the projection screen (S104). Through the method and the device, a problem in a related art that the projected image can only be adjusted manually by a user is solved, and a viewing angle is adjusted to an optimal viewing angle for viewing a projected image in real time according to a distance with respect to a user, thereby protecting the eyesight of the user and improving user experience.

Diffractive waveguide providing a retinal image

A projection display device comprising a light source and an SBG device having a multiplicity of separate SBG elements sandwiched between transparent substrates to which transparent electrodes have been applied. The substrates function as a light guide. A least one transparent electrode comprises a plurality of independently switchable transparent electrode elements, each electrode element substantially overlaying a unique SBG element. Each SBG element encodes image information to be projected on an image surface. Light coupled into the light guide undergoes total internal reflection until diffracted out to the light guide by an activated SBG element. The SBG diffracts light out of the light guide to form an image region on an image surface when subjected to an applied voltage via said transparent electrodes.

Methods, systems, and devices for display notch mitigation for cameras and projectors are described. A device may support receiving a plurality of light rays via an upper surface of a prism. The prism and a camera assembly of the device are positioned behind a display substrate of the device. The device may support reflecting the plurality of light rays across a reflection surface. The reflection surface may form an angle with the upper surface of the prism. The device may receiver the plurality of light rays via the camera assembly positioned behind the display substrate based on reflecting the plurality of light rays across the reflection surface. The device may additionally support emitting a plurality of light rays via a projector assembly, reflecting the plurality of light rays across the reflection surface, and emitting the plurality of light rays via the upper surface of the prism.

Methods and systems are provided for providing real world assistance by a robot utility and interface device (RUID) are provided. A method provides for identifying a position of a user in a physical environment and a surface within the physical environment for projecting an interactive interface. The method also provides for moving to a location within the physical environment based on the position of the user and the surface for projecting the interactive interface. Moreover, the method provides for capturing a plurality of images of the interactive interface while the interactive interface is being interacted with by the use and for determining a selection of an input option made by the user.

DEVICE, PROJECTOR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PROJECTING A LIGHT BEAM ONTO A RETINA OF A HUMAN EYE
20220197022 · 2022-06-23 ·

The present invention pertains to a projector device for projecting a light beam onto a retina of a human eye, comprising a projector for projecting a light beam from the exterior of a human eye through a pupil of the eye, wherein the projector is configured such that an exit pupil diameter of the light beam is set smaller than an eye pupil diameter of the eye, a corresponding method, and a device comprising such a projector device.

Audiovisual device

A device includes a housing having a top, a bottom opposite the top, a front, and a back opposite the front. One or more microphones are oriented substantially towards the top. A first camera, a display, a loudspeaker, and an emitter are oriented substantially towards the front. A second camera, a projector, and a sensor are oriented substantially towards the bottom. The second camera and the sensor may include field of views that at least partially overlap with a projection area of the projector.

A notification system includes a memory, an output device and activity, localization, and tracking modules. The memory stores an activity history log associated with a supporting structure. The activity module: receives signals from sensors or electrical devices; and tracks activities at least one of in or within a set distance of the supporting structure to generate the activity history log. The localization module relates the activities to aspects of the supporting structure and generates corresponding localization data. The tracking module tracks states of the aspects of the supporting structure contacted at least one of directly or indirectly by one or more animate objects and determine at least one of contamination levels or sanitization levels of the aspects based on the localization data and the activity history log. The output device indicates the at least one of the contamination levels or the sanitization levels.

Method for Monitoring Billboard Media Distribution
20220188874 · 2022-06-16 ·

A portable billboard is presented including a portable media projection subsystem to selectively project media and to supply an enablement signal in response to the media being projected. A location device supplies a geographic location of the media projection subsystem. A verifier receives the enablement signal and the geographic location, and supplies verification information responsive to the media being projected from a stationary location for a predetermined minimum duration of time. A communications subsystem receives verification information and either stores the information for subsequent downloads, or transmits the information to a central controlling server. A targeting subsystem permits an entity to select a target stationary location from a plurality of value weighted target stationary locations. The targeting application typically provides a reward in response to a value of the selected target stationary location.
