A projector controlling method includes causing at least one of a first projector and a second projector to accept an instruction of movement of a region where a first image is projected from a first region to a third region and movement of a region where a second image is projected from a second region to a fourth region, upon reception of the instruction, causing the first projector to move the first image from the first region to the third region at a first movement speed, and causing the second projector to move the second image from the second region to the fourth region at a second movement speed.

Systems for a digital showroom with virtual reality and augmented reality

A system allows a user to select designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. The previews provide photorealistic visualizations in two or three dimensions, and can be presented on a computer display, projected on a screen, or presented in virtual reality (e.g., via headset), or augmented reality. The system can also include a projection system that projects the new designs onto garments on mannequins in a showroom. The garments and the new designs projected onto the garments have a three-dimensional appearance as if the garments having the new designs are worn by people. Software and lasers are used in finishing the garments to produce garments with the new designs and the finished garments have an appearance of the three-dimensional appearance of the garments and new designs on the mannequins with the new designs projected onto the garments by the projection system.

A control method for a projector includes, executing a first mode to generate a projection image projected onto a display surface by modifying a shape of an input image, accepting a change operation to the input image for changing a size of a display image displayed as the projection image is projected on the display surface or a position of the display image on the display surface, during the execution of the first mode, and shifting from the first mode to a second mode to control a change to the input image based on the change operation, when the change operation is accepted.

PROJECTION APPARATUS

A projection apparatus including a projection device, a reflecting component, and an image capturing device is provided. The projection device is adapted to project an image light beam to form a projection image. The reflecting component is disposed on the projection device and has a reflecting surface. The image capturing device is disposed on the projection device and has an image capturing end. The image capturing end faces the reflecting surface. The reflecting surface is adapted to reflect the projection image to the image capturing end.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMAPPING PIXEL LOCATIONS

An apparatus and method for optically remapping projected pixels to maximize the utilization and to optimize the distribution of remapped projection pixels to achieve optimal visual performance (generally uniform resolution and luminance). A device interposed between a projector and an imaging surface for optically remapping projected pixel locations with minimal aberration. When this device is interposed between a projector and an imaging surface, it changes the terminal location of each focused pixel such that it maximally coincides with the imaging surface, which is often a surface of complex curvature and very different from the native focal surface of the projector. One implementation of the technology includes a device that uses multiple optical surfaces.

PROJECTION POSITION GUIDING METHOD

A projection position guiding method adapted to a projection system is provided. The projection system includes a projection target, an image capturing device and a projector. The projection position guiding method includes: projecting a projection content onto the projection target by the projector to generate a projection image, the projection content includes multiple positioning grid points arranged at intervals; capturing the projection target by the image capturing device to generate a captured image, and the captured image includes at least part of the projection image; and determining whether the positioning grid points satisfy multiple recognizable conditions according to the projection image in the captured image, when it is determined that the positioning grid points include at least one unrecognizable grid point that does not satisfy at least one of the recognizable conditions, adjusting a color of the at least one unrecognizable grid point in the projection content.

A circuit apparatus is used in a laser projector that projects an image onto a projection surface by using laser beams having different wavelengths or a plurality of colors. The circuit apparatus includes a distortion correction circuit and an output circuit. The distortion correction circuit performs distortion correction on a color basis on display image data corresponding to the plurality of colors. The output circuit outputs the display image data as a result of the distortion correction. The distortion correction circuit performs the distortion correction on a color basis by using warp parameters different from one another among the plurality of colors.
