There is provided an information generation method including, identifying a correspondence relationship between a projector coordinate system and a camera coordinate system, receiving a first operation of designating a first display area representing an arrangement destination of a projection object which is projected on a projection target in a first coordinate system which is one of the camera coordinate system or the projector coordinate system, transforming the first display area into a second display area representing an arrangement destination of the projection object in a second coordinate system which is another of the camera coordinate system or the projector coordinate system based on the correspondence relationship, receiving a second operation of changing at least one of a shape or a position of the second display area, and generating information for changing at least one of a shape or a position of the projection object in accordance with the second operation.
IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND MOVING VEHICLE INCLUDING THE IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
An image display system includes a body, a first correction unit, and a second correction unit. The body houses a display unit to display an image and projects a virtual image, corresponding to the image, onto a target space using outgoing light of the display unit. The first correction unit corrects for distortion of the image. The second correction unit corrects a display location of the image on the display unit in accordance with an orientation signal representing a change in orientation of the body. Each of divisional areas of a display screen of the display unit is assigned with a distortion correction parameter for correcting for the distortion of the virtual image. The first correction unit applies distortion correction to each of the image regions of the image on the display screen based on a distortion correction parameter assigned to a divisional area where the image region is displayed.
SCANNING LASER PROJECTOR SYSTEM UTILIZING PHOTODIODES INSIDE SCAN AREA BUT OUTSIDE OF PROJECTION AREA FOR FEEDBACK
A scanning laser projector includes an optical module with a housing defined by a top surface, a bottom surface, and sidewalls extending between the top surface and bottom surface to define an interior compartment within the housing. A given one of the sidewalls has an exit window defined therein. A first light detector is positioned at an interior surface of the given one of the sidewalls about a periphery of the exit window. A second light detector positioned at the interior surface of the given one of the sidewalls about the periphery of the exit window and on a different side thereof than the first light detector.
PROJECTING SYSTEM, PROJECTING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A projecting system includes an image projector that includes an optical source and that projects an image on a projected surface; and a processor. The processor obtains brightness information regarding brightness around the projected surface. The processor selects at least one item among a total luminous flux of the optical source, a color gamut of the image, and a size of the image. The processor adjusts the item that is selected based on the brightness information.
PROJECTION APPARATUS AND AUTOMATIC PROJECTION ADJUSTMENT METHOD
A projection apparatus with an automatic adjustment function and an automatic projection adjustment method thereof are provided. The projection apparatus includes a control device, a projection device and a ranging device. The projection device is coupled to the control device. The ranging device is coupled to the control device. The control device operates the ranging device to perform multi-point ranging within a projection range of the projection device and on a projection surface. The control device determines whether a position of the projection range is suitable for projection according to a plurality of first distance values of a plurality of detection points provided by the ranging device, so as to adjust the projection range. The projection apparatus has an effect of accurate and automatic projection adjustment.
TECHNOLOGY FOR ASSISTANCE WITH A VIEW OBSTRUCTED BY A USERS HAND
For assistance viewing an object, a computer system receives first data from a first sensor sensing an object when a user's view of at least a portion of the object is obstructed by a hand of the user. The first sensor is fixed to a first wearable device. The computer system generates an image of the obstructed portion of the object in response to the first data. An image of the obstructed portion of the object is projected onto a surface within a view of the user.
PROJECTION PROCESSING DEVICE, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND PROJECTION METHOD
Provided are a projection processing device, a storage medium, and a projection method that can realize efficient guidance of customers who receive services. A projection processing device 10 includes a processor 20 that executes projection processing for acquiring a number of available servings of a service and projecting a notification image 50 used to notify information on the number of available servings. Further, the processor 20 is capable of changing display contents of notification images 50 and 51 for each kind of the service, and changing display contents of notification images 50, 50a, and 50b according to the number of available servings.
Display apparatus and display method
An image display system includes a first terminal device and with a second terminal device whose usable function range is smaller than a usable function range of the first terminal device. The image display system includes a display projection unit, a communication unit that establishes wireless connection with the first and second terminal devices, a control unit that manages the wireless connection, and a connection control image generating unit. The control unit and the connection control image generating unit generate a terminal connection image including information for connecting the second terminal device with the image display system, based on terminal connection permission information that assigns the second terminal device whose wireless connection with the display system is permitted, the terminal connection permission information being transmitted from the first terminal device. The display projection unit displays the terminal connection image.
System and method for displaying high quality images in a dual modulation projection system
A novel high efficiency image projection system includes a beam-steering modulator, an amplitude modulator, and a controller. In a particular embodiment the controller generates beam-steering drive values from image data and uses the beam-steering drive values to drive the beam-steering modulator. Additionally, the controller utilizes the beam-steering drive values to generate a lightfield simulation of a lightfield projected onto the amplitude modulator by the beam-steering modulator. The controller utilizes the lightfield simulation to generate amplitude drive values for driving the amplitude modulator in order to project a high quality version of the image described by the image data.
PROJECTION SYSTEM AND PROJECTED IMAGE STACKING METHOD
A projection system and a projected image stacking method are provided, in the method, an individual representative position of each captured image is identified, wherein the captured images are obtained by respectively capturing an area projected by multiple projectors, and each individual representative position is related to image content projected by each projector. A common representative position is set in the area. A projection lens of each projector is shifted according to a distance difference between each individual representative position and the common representative position. In this way, the projection lens is quickly shifted, and is further applied to stacking operations. The operation of multiple projectors is as convenient as the operation of a single projector based on control of a remoter or keys of a projector control interface.
