IMAGING DEVICE
An imaging device includes an imaging sensor that outputs an imaging signal representing a sequence of frame images of a photographic subject. A buffer memory temporarily stores data of the sequence of frame images from the imaging signal. A release switch is actuated by a user to output an image-taking signal. A controller, upon receipt of the image-taking signal from the release switch: (i) generates moving image data from at least some of the plurality of frame images stored in the buffer memory, (ii) generates at least one piece of still image data based on at least one frame image of the plurality of frame images stored in the buffer memory, and (iii) associates the moving image data with the still image data and records the moving image data and the still image data in a recording medium.
FILE PROCESSING DEVICE, FILE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
The present technology relates to a file processing device, a file processing method, and a program that enable efficient reproduction of a HEIF file.
A high efficiency image file format (HEIF) file in which a related image associated with an image in the HEIF file is arranged in a top part of an mdat box is generated. Additionally, a top part of such a HEIF file is read. The present technology can be applied to generation and reproduction of a HEIF file.
Methods and apparatus for an embedded appliance
In some embodiments, an apparatus comprises a media module and a modification module included in an embedded appliance. The media module is configured to receive a first media signal associated with a first input port of the embedded appliance and a second media signal associated with a second input port of the embedded appliance. The media module is configured to identify a first set of media signal parameters based on the first media signal. The modification module is configured to receive a modification instruction associated with a session format having a second set of media signal parameters different from the first set of media signal parameters. The modification module is configured to modify the first media signal based on the first set of media signal parameters and the modification instruction to produce a first modified media signal in the session format and having the second set of media signal parameters.
Imaging apparatus and controlling method
An imaging apparatus according to embodiments of the present disclosure includes a sensor unit, a front engine that generates compressed raw image data by processing image data acquired from the sensor unit, a main engine that executes a development process on the compressed raw image data acquired from the front engine, and a display unit that displays an image. The front engine controls the display unit to display an image based on the image data acquired from the sensor unit, and the main engine records the image data subjected to the development process in a recording medium.
METHOD FOR IMAGE PROCESSING
A method for image processing is provided. The method includes: capturing and receiving a first set of photo frames; storing the first set of photo frames into a storage unit; performing image processing on the first set of photo frames; and capturing and receiving a second set of photo frames. The performing image processing on the first set of photo frames and the capturing and receiving the second set of photo frames are performed simultaneously. The performing image processing on the first set of photo frames includes: reading the first set of photo frames from the storage unit; storing the first set of photo frames into a temporary storage unit; performing image processing on the first set of photo frames by using an image processing algorithm; and outputting a first output picture.
Method and apparatus for selecting among multiple tuners
A system or method selects among multiple tuners to tune a particular channel. A request is received to tune a first channel. In response to this request, a first tuner is assigned to tune the first channel. A request is received to tune a second channel. If the program tuned by the first tuner is not being recorded, the first tuner is assigned to tune the second channel. If the program tuned by the first tuner is being recorded, the second tuner is assigned to tune the second channel.
Method of timebase management for MPEG decoding with personal video recording functionality
Disclosed are various embodiments that facilitate recording to a storage medium in a personal video recorder (PVR) system. In one embodiment, a transport stream is received. The transport stream is stored into a memory. An index table is generated that provides information for locating particular frames recorded in the memory.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and computer program product
Provided is an image processing apparatus that includes: a three-dimensional model storage unit configured to store a three-dimensional model data, positions of a plurality of devices including a camera disposed in a three-dimensional region as positions in the three-dimensional model, and a plurality of device icons; an acquiring unit configured to acquire a shot image taken at the camera and a shooting direction when shooting; a composing unit configured to determine a view point with respect to the three-dimensional model of the camera position disposed in the three-dimension region, generate a three-dimensional model by disposing the device icons according to the determined view point and the shooting direction, generate a two-dimensional projection image, and generate a composite image by composing the shot image in a predetermined region on the generated two-dimensional projection image; and an output unit configured to output the composite image.
Electronic apparatus and method for controlling the same, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
This invention provides an electronic apparatus which comprises a TIME-CODE terminal configured to output a time code signal which an external apparatus utilizes to perform synchronization related to a video, and a control unit configured to output a time code signal in which a bit in a predetermined field in the time code signal is set to a predetermined value, from the TIME-CODE terminal.
Fast and/or slowmotion compensating timer display
A compensating timer system and method utilizable with video data featuring sections of different playback or recording speeds. The compensating timer system can be utilized with a user interface associated with and displayable thereon. The user interface can include a video display region configured or configurable to display video data, and an animated time indicator. The animated time indicator can be dependent on a modified playing speed of the video data that changes between different first and second speed rates. The first speed rate can be changed to the second speed rate upon receipt of an input associated with an affordance, by modifying at least one frame in the video data. This allows for continuous recording and/or displaying of video at different speed rates without altering operations or settings. The animated time indicator can be an animated affordance, an animated progress bar, an elapsed timer and/or a time remaining clock.
