Distributed scheduling of media channel playout
Multiple scheduling producers such as content management systems, advertisement systems, and emergency broadcast systems can independently send scheduling events to scheduling consumers such as streaming servers, guide generators, and playlogs. The scheduling consumers maintain state machines with persistent storage to process scheduling events from scheduling producers and output media channel playlists, channel guides, and/or content. Scheduling producers can contribute independently to define a channel playout while information at scheduling consumers remains synchronized.
User interface for video content
Disclosed are various embodiments for presenting a user interface in association with video content features. A video content feature is rendered on at least one display. A current scene in the video content feature is determined. Cast members are determined who have appeared in the current scene from a beginning of the current scene up to a current time in the current scene. A user interface is rendered on at least one display. The user interface includes selectable cast member components that each include an image of a cast member, a name of the cast member, and a name of a respective character performed by the cast member.
System and method for event data collection and video alignment
Software is provided to collect events that transpire during an event. Captured video of the event can then be aligned to the events by calculating an offset between timestamps provided by the devices used to capture the action data and film data. A video clip can be sourced to review events that occurred.
Event-based responder dispatch
Dispatch-aiding communications between computing devices of a responder and a dispatch unit include a computing device of the responder determining that an event occurred, automatically sending an indication of the event to a computing device of the dispatch unit, receiving a request for information from the computing device of the dispatch unit, obtaining the information requested by the computing device of the dispatch unit, and sending the information requested by the computing device of the dispatch unit to the computing device of the dispatch unit. The computing device of the dispatch unit sends the request for information to the computing device of the responder in response to receiving the indication of the event.
Calibration device and calibration method
High precision calibration of external parameters is possible even when the surrounding road surface is configured from a plurality of flat surfaces. Specifically, provided is a calibration device comprising a camera to be mounted on a vehicle traveling on a road surface; a characteristic point extraction unit which extracts characteristic points from a captured image obtained by being captured with the camera; a tracking unit which tracks the characteristic points extracted with the characteristic point extraction unit; a storage unit which stores a trajectory of the characteristic points obtained by tracking the characteristic points; a road surface estimation unit which estimates a flat surface on which the vehicle is traveling by using the trajectory of the characteristic points; a calculation unit which calculates a calibration trajectory, which is a trajectory of the characteristic points, for use in calibration based on the estimated flat surface; and an external parameter estimation unit which executes calibration of an external parameter of the camera by using the calibration trajectory.
Method for providing preview and electronic device for displaying preview
A method for providing a preview and an electronic device for displaying a preview are provided. The electronic device includes a camera module, a display, a processor operatively connected to the camera module and the display, and a memory operatively connected to the processor, wherein the memory stores instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to acquire original image frames through the camera module, display, on the display, first preview image frames corresponding to the acquired original image frames, receive an input for requesting dynamic-tone-mapping-based recording, perform the dynamic-tone-mapping-based recording in response to the reception of the input, and while performing the dynamic-tone-mapping-based recording, generate second preview image frames by performing dynamic-tone-mapping processing to first preview image frames acquired after a time point at which the input is received, and display the generated second preview image frames on the display. Various other embodiments are possible.
Autonomous golf competition systems and methods
A system for monitoring and recording and processing an activity includes one or more cameras for automatically recording video of the activity. A remote media system is located at the location of the activity. A network media processor and services is communicatively coupled with the remote media system. The remote media system includes one or more AI enabled cameras. The AI enabled camera is configured to record the activity. The network media processor is configured to receive an activation request of the AI enabled camera and the validate the record request. The system may automatically administer a skill-based competition.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THE INTERACTION OF SATELLITE AND INTERNET PROTOCOL FEATURES IN CONTENT DELIVERY SYSTEMS (Satellite IP Interactions)
Systems and methods for interaction of satellite and Internet protocol features in content delivery systems are presented. Using such systems and methods, the delivery of some content to the same product by Satellite delivery, other content by IP delivery, and still other content by both Satellite and IP delivery can enhance the utility of both the content and the product for an end user and can further optimize the costs and quality of service associated with delivering the content. A method of providing content and data to a combined satellite and IP network receiver is presented, including broadcasting via satellite content and data to the receiver, and sending via an IP based communications network content and data to the receiver, where the content and data provided over the Satellite broadcast enables capabilities of the receiver needed to consume content received by IP delivery, and the content and data provided via IP delivery enables capabilities of the receiver needed to consume content received from the satellite broadcast.
