IMAGING APPARATUS, SOUND PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
There is provided an imaging apparatus including: a sound processing unit that performs processing with respect to a sound signal input through a microphone; and a control unit that separately controls a parameter related to processing of the sound signal at a time of recording of a captured image when the sound data processed by the sound processing unit is recorded together with image data obtained by imaging through an imaging unit and a time of recording a sound memo when the sound data processed by the sound processing unit is recorded as the sound memo.
RECORDING CONTROL APPARATUS, RECORDING CONTROL METHOD, AND RECORDING CONTROL PROGRAM
An image acquisition unit acquires a video of a scene around a vehicle while the video is being captured. A recording control unit sets a moving image file for recording the video being captured, segmenting the video into predetermined units and records the video being captured in the moving image file until the predetermined unit is met. When an operation reception unit receives a request to play back a just-before portion while the video is being recorded, the recording control unit sets a subsequent moving image file that will be a new recording destination and closes a preceding moving image file that has been a recording destination, and a display control unit plays back the video, starting at a point of time reached by going back from an end of the preceding moving image file by a predetermined period of time.
Video processing system
A video processing system includes: an object movement information acquiring means for detecting a moving object moving in a plurality of segment regions from video data obtained by shooting a monitoring target area, and acquiring movement segment region information as object movement information, the movement segment region information representing segment regions where the detected moving object has moved; an object movement information and video data storing means for storing the object movement information in association with the video data corresponding to the object movement information; a retrieval condition inputting means for inputting a sequence of the segment regions as a retrieval condition; and a video data retrieving means for retrieving the object movement information in accordance with the retrieval condition and outputting video data stored in association with the retrieved object movement information, the object movement information being stored by the object movement information and video data storing means.
Food quantum tracking tools and methods related thereto
The present invention relates to novel methods, tools and systems that provide an individual with the ability to define a personalized portion and evaluate food in real-world situations to offer guidance to the individual on the amount of the food the individual should eat as part of a controlled and consistent diet based on food volume. In particular, the methods, tools and systems of the present invention define food quanta personalized to the user, and further utilizes augmented reality to overlay a selected food quantum on real-world food in order to guide the user to select a definable food quantum, e.g., to achieve a dietary goal.
DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A display control apparatus includes a memory and at least one processor which function as a setting unit configured to make a superimposed recording setting for recording a first display element superimposed on a moving image captured by an image capturing unit, and a control unit configured to perform control to display the first display element superimposed on the moving image captured by the image capturing unit in the superimposed recording setting made by the setting unit, and to display the moving image captured by the image capturing unit without superimposing the first display element on the moving image after completion of the superimposed recording setting made by the setting unit.
Editing method and recording and reproducing device
In order to provide a recording and reproducing device that allows a user to select and manage arbitrary play lists, a unit of management for managing all registered play list information and an upper management hierarchical level are added. The unit of management is adapted to be handled on the same level with unified information that indicates a reproduction range of all AV data. User-defined unified information is adapted to be handled on the added management hierarchical level. The user-defined unified information is formed to allow arbitrary reproduction ranges contained on a lower hierarchical level to be registered.
Advanced trick-play modes for streaming video
Enhanced trick-play modes for video content that is being streamed to a client from a server are described. In an embodiment, the enhanced trick-play modes are provided with relatively low latency and high quality using trick-play optimization techniques for a streaming environment, avoiding the need to stream the entire contents of the portions through which the viewer is fast forwarding. By employing sophisticated selection criteria of which parts of the content to download at what time, the quality of the playback experience is improved versus that which would conventionally be possible when using a simple sequential frame data download. The streaming client maintains a cache of nearby significant frames, such as nearby key frames, in forward and/or reverse directions of the current playback position, without having to download the entire portions of the video stream in which the significant frames reside. The trick-play modes utilize these frames.
Real-time cloud-based video watermarking systems and methods
A video generation system is configured to provide streaming video as a cloud processed service to viewers over a computing network. In response to a request from a viewer, a video source is configured to provide video and an identifier source is configured to provide an identifier for inclusion in the video. A video encoder is configured to convert the video from a first format to a second format, apply the identifier to the video, and otherwise encode the video in real-time while streaming the encoded video to the viewer. The identifier may be stored in association with the account information of the viewer and used for identifying the viewer a source of an unauthorized video copy.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ENHANCED PLAYBACK OF CONTENT WHILE SWITCHING AMONG CHANNELS OF BROADCAST OR STREAMED CONTENT WHILE BEING RECEIVED (Tune Start)
A system and method provide an enhanced listening experience for a user of a radio receiver or other device that receives broadcast or streamed content having a plurality of program channels. Thu method and system buffer designated channels at the receiver and, when switching among channels, play back the buffered designated channels during reception from a selected point therein depending on the channel or other criteria. When switching to a different channel during reception, a user is able to hear content in a buffered program channel with music from the start of a song, for example, whereas content in a channel with news, talk radio, or live sports is played back from live reception, even though the content segments are transmitted at different start times relative to their selected times for playback following a channel change. User controls allow navigation among buffered designated channels during reception.
COMMERCIALS ON MOBILE DEVICES
A method including: detecting a request for a first part of a video; detecting a request for a second part of the video, wherein the video has a video timeline and the second part of the video immediately follows the first part of the video in the video timeline; after detecting the request for the first part of the video and prior to detecting the request for the second part of the video, transmitting a request for a third part of the video, wherein the third part of the video follows the second part of the video in the video timeline; receiving the requested third part of the video; and storing the received third part of the video.
