IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided an image processing apparatus comprising: a processor; and a memory storing a program. When the program is executed by the processor, the program causes the image processing apparatus to: obtain a first RAW image including a region of a first circular fisheye image; and develop the first RAW image. A pixel outside the region of the first circular fisheye image in the first RAW image is not developed.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing apparatus determines whether an image represented by image data includes two circular areas and executes predetermined processing on the image if it is determined that the image includes two circular areas. The image processing apparatus can recognize if the image data is taken with a dual-eye lens even when an image capture apparatus that has recorded the image data has not recognized that a dual-eye lens unit has been attached and processing the image appropriately.
Co-boresighted monocentric multiscale (MMS) camera exhibiting Galilean multiscale design
Disclosed are systems, methods, and structures for monocentric multiscale gigapixel imaging systems and cameras employing a Galilean architecture wherein adjacent subimages do not overlap while advantageously producing a reduced system volume, improved relative illumination and image quality as compared with prior art systems.
ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Electronic equipment includes an obtaining unit configured to obtain a third image in which a first image captured via a first optical system and a second image captured via a second optical system are arranged side by side, the second image having parallax with the first image and a setting unit configured to set, in the third image, a target area to which predetermined processing is to be applied, based on a user operation. The setting unit is configured to set the target area in such a manner that the item indicating the target area includes either one of the first image and the second image.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes: a processor; and a memory storing a program which, when executed by the processor, causes the information processing apparatus to obtain an image and correction information on a first optical system and a second optical system, the image including a first area corresponding to a first image inputted via the first optical system and a second area corresponding to a second image inputted via the second optical system having a predetermined parallax with respect to the first optical system; execute correcting processing of correcting, based on the correction information, positions of a pixel included in the first area and a pixel included in the second area in the image, and generate a processed image by executing processing of transforming the corrected first area and the corrected second area.
DEVICE, CAPTURING DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A device is operable to output, regarding a subject, a pair of captured images pertaining to binocular stereopsis. The device obtains, regarding a plurality of capturing systems arranged to be a predetermined distance apart, a group of captured images in which the subject is captured, wherein the device obtains, regarding at least one capturing system among the plurality of capturing systems, a plurality of captured images pertaining to luminous fluxes that have each passed a different pupil region, determines, regarding the pair of captured images, a baseline length to be set, and selects, from among the group of obtained captured images, the pair of captured images based on the determined baseline length to be set and output the pair of captured images.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
There is provided an image processing apparatus comprising. An obtainment unit obtains a first circular fisheye image accompanied by a first missing region in which no pixel value is present. A generation unit generates a first equidistant cylindrical projection image by performing first equidistant cylindrical transformation processing based on the first circular fisheye image. The generation unit generates the first equidistant cylindrical projection image such that a first corresponding region corresponding to the first missing region has a pixel value in the first equidistant cylindrical projection image.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD, AND IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing apparatus comprises: an acquisition unit that acquires a plurality of different viewpoint images obtained by shooting a same scene from different viewpoints, and acquires at least one parallax image pair having parallax by pupil division; a first generator that generates a first distance image from the parallax image pair; a second generator that generates a second distance image from the plurality of different viewpoint images; and an integrator that integrates the first distance image and the second distance image and generates an integrated distance image.
STEREO LENS APPARATUS AND IMAGE PICKUP APPARATUS
A stereo lens apparatus includes two optical systems arranged in parallel. Each of the two optical systems includes, in order from an object side to an image side, first to third lens units. An optical path is bent at a position between the first and second lens units and at a position between the second and third lens units in each of the two optical systems so that an inter-optical axis distance between two third lens units is narrower than an inter-optical axis distance between two first lens units. Part of one holding mechanism of two holding mechanisms that are configured to respectively hold the two third lens units is located in a concave portion provided on the other holding mechanism, and part of the other holding mechanism is located in a convex portion provided on the one holding mechanism.
