SYSTEM FOR COMMUNICATING DATA
A system (100) for communicating data packets is provided. The system may include a first device (102) and a second device (104). The first device (102) may include a first processor (112) and a plurality of WWANs (118). The first processor (112) may execute a first MPTCP (204) and a plurality of first VPNs (206). The first device (204) may be configured to receive and segregate a stream of packets of data into a plurality of data blocks (Db). The first MPTCP (204) and the plurality of WWANs (118) may coordinate to provide multiple data paths based on the bandwidth of each of the plurality of WWANs (118) for transmitting the plurality of data block (Db). The plurality of data blocks may be received by the second device (104) to be further processed and sent to a desired destination.
Image processing method, devices and system
The invention relates to methods, devices, systems and computer program products where input image data is received for processing in a computer system, a first transform is carried out to the input image data, the transform being done in a first direction with respect to the input image data, to obtain first transformed image data, a transposing operation is carried out to the first transformed image data to obtain first transposed image data, and a second transform is carried out to the first transposed image data, the second transform being done in a second direction with respect to the input image data, to obtain second transformed image data. The first transform and the second transform may be carried out in a processor in a parallel manner, and the transposing operation may be carried out at least partially using registers of the processor.

Parameter set coding
Systems, methods, and devices for processing video data are disclosed. Some examples relate to receiving or forming a parameter set having an identifier that is fixed length coded, wherein a parameter set identification (ID) for the parameter set is before any syntax element in the parameter set that is entropy coded and using the parameter set having the identifier that is fixed length coded to decode or encode video data. Other examples determine whether a first parameter set ID of a first parameter set of a first bitstream is the same as a second parameter set ID of a second parameter set of a second bitstream. In response to determining that the second parameter set ID is the same as the first parameter set ID, changing the second parameter set ID to a unique parameter set ID. A parameter set associated with the unique parameter set ID may be transmitted.
Information processing apparatus, method of controlling the same, and storage medium
In an information processing apparatus, a GPU obtains a plurality of blocks which have a predetermined number of pixels and are obtained by dividing an encoding target image, and intermediate blocks for which a spatial redundancy is removed are generated for each block. The GPU analyzes a data string of the intermediate blocks, and generates specifying information for specifying positions of data for which a value is included in a predetermined range in the data string, and for each of the blocks, outputs at least a portion of the data of the intermediate blocks, and corresponding specifying information to a storage apparatus. A CPU, for each of the plurality of blocks, executes compression processing by referencing corresponding specifying information, and reading at least a portion of the data corresponding to the specifying information from the storage apparatus.

A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR IMAGE COMPRESSION
The invention relates to a method and apparatus for image compression, particularly to an improved block-coding apparatus and method for image compression. Image compression systems such as JPEG and JPEG2000 are known and popular standards for image compression. Many of the advantageous features of JPEG2000 derive from the use of the EBCOT algorithm (Embedded Block-Coding with Optimized Truncation). One drawback of the JPEG2000 standards is computational complexity. This application discloses a relatively fast block-coding algorithm, particularly as compared with the standard JPEG2000 EBCOT algorithm. Computational complexity is reduced.
