An accessory for a conventional espresso coffee machine wherein the espresso machine has a bottom surface, and the accessory comprises a left support portion having a left support portion rear end and a left support portion forward end and a right support portion having a right support portion rear end and a right support portion forward end is disclosed. A rear joining portion joins the left support portion rear end to the right support portion rear end. The rear joining portion, the left support portion and the right support portion are configured and dimensioned to define a space between the left support portion and the right support portion. The left support portion, the right support portion and the rear joining portion together form a unitary accessory body, the accessory body have a top surface. The top surface mates with the bottom surface of the espresso machine to form a stable assembly therewith.

A small manual coffee maker includes: a cup body and detachable coffee brewing base. A body lower end is connected to the base. Water and pressure chambers are in the body. A coffee brewing chamber and coffee outlet passage are in the base. The body has a water inlet passage communicating with the pressure chamber and a water outlet passage communicating with the pressure and coffee brewing chambers. A water chamber bottom has a water inlet communicating with the water inlet passage. The water inlet passage has a water inlet one-way valve which can control the one-way flow of water from the water inlet passage to the pressure chamber. The water outlet passage has a water outlet one-way valve which can control the one-way flow of water from the pressure chamber to the coffee brewing chamber. The body has a piston rod with one end extending into the pressure chamber.

A syringe-type manual pressure brewing device is disclosed. It includes an accommodating bin for accommodating coffee powder. A syringe barrel is installed above the accommodating bin. A pushing rod and a piston thereof airtightly fitted to the syringe barrel are installed inside the syringe barrel. The piston is installed below the pushing rod for manually operating pressure extraction on coffee or tea along the syringe barrel. A pressure valve is further installed between the syringe barrel and the accommodating bin for increasing the pressure in the syringe barrel. At least one check valve is installed on a bottom of the accommodating bin for controlling extraction concentration of coffee or tea. The syringe-type manual pressure brewing device includes the structure of the syringe barrel and pushing rod with matched pressure valve, and the check valve controls different extraction pressure to achieve a choice of different coffee or tea strength and taste.

An improved French coffee press apparatus, system, and method that utilizes a locking ring to engage with a locking base that can be removed from the carafe, along with any coffee grounds. The locking ring is connected to the pressing rod, which also includes a filter system above the locking ring. The pressing rod fits through an opening in the carafe lid, and the carafe lid secures the liquid inside the carafe. The combination of the filtering system assists in the filtering and capture of any coffee grounds into the locking base for cleaning, and the locking ring assists in the removal of the locking base.

The present invention is directed to an apparatus for producing coffee, espresso for instance, with the capability to be modularly reconfigured for operation as a manual lever operated espresso machine, or alternatively configured as a spring lever operated espresso machine, preferably without the use of specialized tools or the removal or replacement of major components from operational use.
