An electronic apparatus which registers a device to a server by using a voice, and a method therefor are provided. The electronic apparatus includes a communication circuit, a microphone, a memory for storing computer executable instructions, and at least one processor configured to execute the computer executable instructions to acquire, from a voice received through the microphone, information on an external device which a user wishes to register, based on an external device corresponding to the acquired information being searched through the communication circuit, control the communication circuit to transmit information on an access point to the external device to enable the external device to communicate with a server, and control the communication circuit to transmit a registration request with respect to the external device to the server.
Selection of a wireless device to be remotely controlled by a user interface device for media presentation in a vehicle
A method for media presentation in a vehicle includes receiving a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertising message from a user interface (UI) device. The method includes: waking an application module of the first wireless device; authorizing the UI device to remotely control media presentation as presented by the application module; and determining whether the first wireless device is paired or in a current cabled connection with a vehicle head unit of the vehicle. The method includes, when the first wireless device is paired or in a current cabled connection with the vehicle head unit, selecting the first wireless device for subsequent communication with the UI device to control the media presentation, and when the first wireless device is not paired with the vehicle head unit and not in a current cabled connection with the vehicle head unit, terminating the authorization of the UI device to remotely control media presentation.
Methods and systems for displaying content on multiple networked devices with a simple command
A method for displaying content displayed on one or more first devices on a second device is provided. The method includes receiving a request to display content currently displayed on a first device on a second device, the request including a gesture made on a screen of the first device, and pairing the first device to the second device. The method further includes transmitting instructions to the second device to display the content currently displayed on the first device, and transmitting the content currently displayed on the first device to the second device for display thereon.
5G with ATSC 3.0 network extender
Embodiments are directed towards providing extended Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0 compliant content. An ATSC 3.0 extension device receives ATSC 3.0 compliant content and other data via a broadband communication. The ATSC 3.0 extension device broadcasts the ATSC 3.0 compliant content via ATSC 3.0 data signals and broadcasts the other data via 5G data signals. A user device receives the ATSC 3.0 compliant content via the ATSC 3.0 data signals and receives the other data via the 5G data signals. The user device combines and outputs the ATSC 3.0 compliant content with the other data for presentation to a user.

A set-top box with enhanced content and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, a wireless transceiver is located within a housing, which also interconnectively includes a television input, a television output, a processor, and memory. The set-top box provides a fully tuned signal including general content via the television output to a display or a television, for example. The set-top box may also identify a proximate wireless-enabled interactive programmable device and responsive to identifying the proximate wireless-enabled interactive device, forward a fully tuned signal including custom content relative to a group identification associated with the proximate wireless-enabled interactive programmable device.

The embodiment may include identifying a user's eye direction, awareness, and attentiveness using a wearable device. The embodiment may also include determining whether the user is in a physical place where the user is viewing a live event. The embodiment may further include determining a minimum level of an attentiveness score for the user. The embodiment may also include identifying the attentiveness score of the user while watching any content when the user's attentive score is below a preconfigured threshold value. The embodiment may further include delivering content that the user missed based on the attentive score.

A system for navigating, exploring, and controlling immersive content and immersive advertisements provided on one or more OTT television applications using connected digital media players and/or user computing devices is presented. Immersive content and immersive advertisements are content and advertisements that can be viewed in 360 degrees so as to change the point of view and view the same content or advertisement from different angles. The user is enabled to control the playback, navigation, and exploration of the 360-degree immersive content and immersive advertisements using a digital trackpad in a downloadable 360-degree media player that can be applied as a separate application integration on a user's smartphone or other device or that can be integrated into the OTT mobile application. Other connected streaming devices can also integrate the 360-degree media player to allow for 360 degree exploration and viewing of the immersive content and immersive advertisements.

Systems and methods for dynamically adjusting display content and parameters on a display region are provided. A display manager can control a display environment including a plurality of display regions and can display content items in the display regions. The display manager can identify an event record placed via a client device located in a display zone corresponding to a display region of the display environment. The event record can correspond to an event associated with at least one of the respective content items. The display manager can determine to change a first content item displayed within the display region or a value of a parameter of the display region. The display manager can modify the display region by replacing the first content item with a second content item corresponding to the event associated with the event record or by adjusting the parameter of the display region.
SERVER AND SYSTEM COMPRISING SAME
The present disclosure relates to a server and a system including the same. The server according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a communication unit configured to perform communication through a network; a storage unit configured to store reservation data including a title, broadcasting date, and time slot of content; and a controller, wherein, when a first signal for setting a watching reservation for specific content is received from an image display apparatus through the communication unit, the controller checks at least one content provider that provides a service related to watching of the specific content, generates reservation data for the specific content and stores the reservation data in the storage unit, and when a first time point corresponding to the broadcasting date and time slot of the specific content arrives, transmits a notification message, which contains data on at least one of the at least one content provider, that is related to watching of the specific content to the image display apparatus. Various other embodiments are possible.
