User interfaces for providing live video

The present disclosure generally relates to providing live video. An example method includes, at a computer system, while in an editing mode for a presentation, receiving, via one or more input devices, a request to insert an object onto a first slide of the presentation, wherein the request includes associating the object with a source for live video; and while in a presentation mode for the presentation, displaying, via a display generation component, the first slide including concurrent display of the object and one or more visual elements, wherein: in accordance with a determination that the object is associated with a camera, the object includes a live video stream from the camera; and in accordance with a determination that the object is associated with a non-camera external device, the object includes a live video stream that mirrors a portion of a display of the non-camera external device.

CONTENT DISPLAY

According to an example, to output content to a display, content from a first source and a second source, via a radio, is received. The first content and the second content are combined on a processor into a single stream and output to a display. In an example, the second content is received from a server and combined with the first content in response to a user in proximity to the display. In an example, the received second content is modified in response to a change in the user proximity.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

An image that can be easily viewable for a user is provided. An information processing apparatus is an information processing apparatus including a control unit. The control unit included in this information processing apparatus controls performing displaying an image on the basis of image information transmitted from at least one first information processing apparatus by using radio communication in one area of a display unit for each first information processing apparatus. In addition, the control unit included in this information processing apparatus performs control of performing and determining a display form of the image corresponding to the first information processing apparatus in the display unit on the basis of a positional relation between a user associated with the first information processing apparatus and the display unit.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TRANSMITTING HIGHLIGHTS OF SPORTING EVENTS TO COMMUNICATION DEVICES

A highlight transmission service allows users of communication devices to view highlights of sporting events while the sporting events are occurring without having to watch the sporting events. For example, a computer-implemented method may comprise:

determining that a highlight of a sporting event is to be conveyed to a communication device; and transmitting data regarding the highlight of the sporting event to the communication device over a network during the sporting event in order to allow a user of the communication device to view the highlight of the sporting event.

Method for transmitting broadcast signals and method for receiving broadcast signals

A method of processing supplementary content in a digital receiving apparatus, includes connecting to an external device being different from a broadcaster; receiving uncompressed audio/video (A/V) content from the external device being different from the broadcaster; extracting audio watermark from the uncompressed A/V content, wherein the audio watermark includes domain type information, time information and event flag, further the event flag is used to signal when an event is available, and the event flag is 1-bit; constructing a first uniform resource locator (URL) based on the audio watermark; transmitting a request to a remote server based on the first URL; receiving a second URL for the supplementary content from the remote server; and presenting the supplementary content based on the second URL.

AUTOMATICALLY SUSPENDING OR REDUCING PORTABLE DEVICE NOTIFICATIONS WHEN VIEWING AUDIO/VIDEO PROGRAMS
20230171736 · 2023-06-01 ·

A facility for selectively suppressing notifications on a portable device is described. The facility accesses data characterizing the condition of the portable device. The facility infers from the accessed data that that the portable device is being carried by a person who is viewing content being played by a media player device. In response to this inference, the facility determines whether notifications should be suppressed on the portable device. If the facility determines that notifications should be suppressed on the portable device, it causes a wireless communication to be transmitted to the portable device instructing the portable device to suppress notifications.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERRING AN INTERACTIVE FEATURE TO ANOTHER DEVICE

Methods and systems are presented for transferring an interactive feature from a first device to a second device. Two users may be consuming a media asset. Upon receipt of a command to active an interactive feature, a determination is made whether a user who did not activate the interactive feature is interested in the media asset. Upon that determination, a timer is activated that tracks an amount of time for which the interactive feature is active and a determination is made whether a threshold time period has been met. Once the threshold time period is met, a device associated with the user that activated the interactive feature is identified and the users are prompted to transfer the interactive feature to the device.

AUGMENTED REALITY DISPLAY FOR CONTENT CONSUMPTION BASED ON FIELD OF VIEW

Systems and methods are presented herein for generating an augmented reality (“AR”) display with user interface (“UI”) elements that respond to changes in pupil characteristics in response to detecting device streaming content. A media stream playing on a device that is within a threshold distance of the AR device is detected. The source of the media stream is identified. The AR device queries the source of the media stream for a consumption option. An AR overlay is generated and comprises selectable UI elements corresponding to the consumption options. In response to receiving an input at a UI element, the AR overlay is generated based on the consumption option.

Methods and systems enabling access by portable wireless handheld devices to data associated with programming rendering on flat panel displays

Flat panel displays can broadcast their identity for discovery by handheld devices interested in obtaining data associated with video programming displayed on the displays. An application can be downloaded and activated on smartphones that will enable them to capture an image of the video programming and recognize is with the help of a remote server, or wirelessly obtain a list of available (discovered) flat panel displays (multiple screens, depending on venue) that allow wireless access to data associated with video programming displayed (or previously displayed and stored in a queue) on flat panels. Video programming rendering on a flat panel of interest can be identified via the smartphone and the smartphone can access additional data either directly from the flat panel or from a remote server once the data has been identified and/or engage in an interactive session in association with the displayed programming or data.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING COUPON

[Object] To improve convenience for providing a coupon with the use of a spatial or temporal modulation component added to light that can be captured while a service is being used.

[Solution] Provided is a method for providing a coupon by using a terminal device and at least one server configured to provide a service to the terminal device, the method including: capturing light while the service is being used, transmitting key information based on a spatial or temporal modulation component of the light to the server, and receiving coupon information related to the service transmitted from the server by using the terminal device; and receiving the key information from the terminal device and issuing the coupon information in accordance with the key information by using the server.
