Systems and methods configured to determine a machine-readable optical code based on screen-captured video are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive, via a user interface of a client computing platform, an indication to begin a screen-captured video; initiate, based on the indication, the screen-captured video; effectuate an image decoding machine configured to parse and decode images and/or the video frames for information embedded into the images and/or the video frames to: parse the video frames for a text; for individual ones of the video frames with the text, extract embedded information from the text by performing at least optical character recognition; and decode the embedded information for metadata; and effectuate, via the user interface, presentation of information derived from the metadata.

A television receiver may present live television programming along with a sports gaming interface that indicates various betting options that are selectable by a television viewer via a remote control. The television receiver may receive a selection of a betting option presented in the sports gaming interface. A request may then be sent to a mobile device of the television viewer. The television receiver may in response to the selection, transmit a bet identifier of the selected betting option and an account identifier to the television service provider system. After a user has funded the bet and completed the transaction via a mobile device, the sports gaming interface may indicate the active bet.

Methods and Systems are disclosed for displaying objects between disparate devices connected to an electronic network. One method comprises detecting, by a multimedia device connected to an electronic network, an object in a multimedia stream; determining an identifier associated with the detected object; detecting a mobile device connected to the electronic network, the mobile device being a device other than the multimedia device; and generating a display of the detected object at the detected mobile device.

A system is provided for streaming media content in a vehicle. The system includes a personal media streaming appliance system configured to connect to a media delivery system and receive media content from the media delivery system at least via a cellular network. The personal media streaming appliance system includes one or more preset buttons for playing media content associated with the preset buttons. The media contents associated with the preset buttons are automatically determined to be personalized to the user of the system.

The disclosure generally relates to a method for accessing media content, said method being used in a receiver. The method comprises a preparation phase and a use phase. The preparation phase comprises the steps of obtaining, by said receiver, a catalog of media content items, each media content item corresponding to a media content and comprising at least an item description and an item identification data and storing said catalog of media content items in a local database in a memory of the receiver. The use phase comprises the steps of accessing, by a mobile display device, said catalog of media content items through a local communication channel; displaying at least a part of the catalog of media content items on the mobile display device; selecting, by said mobile display device, at least one media content item displayed on the mobile display device; transmitting, by said mobile display device, a request to a content provider, the request comprising the item identification data corresponding to said selected media content item and additional data allowing for the receiver to be identified, said transmission using a first remote communication channel distinct from said local communication channel; and obtaining by the receiver, the media content corresponding to the media content item identified by the identification data contained in said request.

The disclosure further relates to a receiver and a mobile display device for implementing the above described method and a system comprising at least said receiver and said mobile display device.

A method for processing information, applied to a first client, is disclosed. The method includes displaying a live broadcast page of a first user account for a live broadcast. The first user account is logged into the first client and includes a live broadcast function. The method includes obtaining a first information in the live broadcast page. The first information is sent from the first user account to a second user account, the second user account comprises the live broadcast function and is in a different live broadcast room than the first user account. The method includes sending the first information.

Methods, systems, and media for aggregating and presenting content relevant to a particular video game. In some embodiments, the method comprises: identifying videos related to a video game; selecting videos relevant to each of a plurality of categories; selecting videos based on popularity; receiving a request to present a user interface related to the video game; determining user subscription information for a user associated with the request; selecting videos based on user subscription information; causing the user interface to be presented including representations of: videos relevant to a first category in a first portion, videos selected based on popularity in a second portion, and videos selected based on the user subscription information in a third portion; receiving a request to present a video selected via the user interface; and causing the user device to present the requested video.
