A display apparatus includes a display; a communicator configured to communicate with a plurality of external apparatuses, which respectively provide a plurality of contents; and a processor. The processor is configured to: based on receiving information relating to contents among the plurality of contents from external apparatuses, respectively, through the communicator, identify the external apparatuses that transmitted the information, among the plurality of external apparatuses, control the display to display a UI including the contents respectively received from the identified external apparatuses, and control the display to display, on the UI, reproduction states of the contents to be visually distinguishable according to states of inputs of users of the received contents, the inputs being received through the identified external apparatuses, respectively.

According to various embodiments, a content casting method of an electronic device may comprise: an operation of obtaining a content list including a plurality of pieces of content information from an external server; an operation of selecting at least one piece of content from the content list on the basis of at least one of the state of a user, the type of content, and the state of an external electronic device; and an operation of transmitting information on the selected at least one piece of content to the external electronic device so as to cause the external electronic device to play the selected at least one piece of content through a short-range wireless network. User interface techniques provide user vocalists with mechanisms for solo audiovisual capture and for seeding subsequent performances by other users (e.g., joiners). Computational techniques are described that allow a system to automatically identify suitable short seeds or short segments. After audiovisual capture against the short seed or short segment, a resulting, solo or group, full-length or short-form performance may be posted, livestreamed, or otherwise disseminated in a social network.

A display apparatus includes a display, an interface, and a processor configured to, based on a dongle in which an application is stored being connected to the interface, display the application stored in the dongle on the display based on information on the application received from the dongle, and based on receiving a user command for selecting the application displayed on the display, transmit a command for executing the selected application to the dongle through the interface, and based on receiving an execution screen of the application executed in the dongle through the interface according to the command, display the received execution screen on the display The processor is further configured to, based on receiving the user command, transmit, through the interface, a command for communicating with an electronic apparatus, so that the dongle is connected to the electronic apparatus.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method that includes obtaining, by a processing system including a processor, video frames over a network; the processing system uses a machine learning algorithm to identify in each frame a first region comprising a natural image and a second region comprising a synthetic graphic image. The processing system separates the natural image from the synthetic graphic image to generate a natural video and a graphics video, encodes the natural video, and processes the graphics video to generate instructions for rendering graphic images at a client system. The client system performs a decoding procedure for the encoded video, a rendering procedure for client-side graphics in accordance with the instructions, and a compositing procedure to obtain a presentable video stream including the natural image and a client-side graphic corresponding to the synthetic graphic image. The electronic device determines an insertion time within the first media content item for inserting a second media content item, and generates a queue indicating an order in which a first, second, and third file are to be provided. The electronic device generates the files, and queues the second electronic device to play back the first, second, and the third files in accordance with the queue.
