PARENTAL CONTROLS
A method includes associating a client device with a secondary device. The method further includes identifying a triggering event related to an operation of the secondary device. The method also includes, in response to identifying the triggering event, sending a message to the client device with a request for information related to the operation of the secondary device. The client device may have a user interface configured to receive the information. The method includes receiving, via a network, the information from the client device. The method further includes performing the operation at the secondary device using the information from the client device.
KEY FOR ON-SCREEN TRANSMISSION
Disclosed is a device for transmitting content over an external display facility, including: a processing unit; a USB connector; an HDMI connector; a data storage body; at least one wireless communication module; and an internal battery. The processing unit is designed, according to the mode, to: record visual content data on the data storage body when the data is received from the input connector and/or the at least one wireless communication module; encrypt the recorded data, or decrypt the encrypted data recorded on the data storage body; convert the content data into a media flow; and transmit the media flow via the output connector such that an external screen to which the device is connected transmits the corresponding media.
METHOD OF REGISTERING CODE SET OF CONTROL TARGET DEVICE USING REMOTE CONTROL
Provided is a method of registering a code set of a control target device using a set top box, the method including receiving a manual setting start request message, which is a message requesting a start of manual setting, from the set top box; selecting one of at least two manufacturers displayed on the control target device and providing information on the selected manufacturer to the set top box; providing a total index corresponding to the selected manufacturer requested by the set top box to the set top box; checking whether the control target device is remotely controlled by transmitting a control code constituting a code set corresponding to an index displayed on the control target device to the control target device; and registering the code set as a code set for remotely controlling the control target device when the control target device is remotely controlled.
RESOURCE RETRIEVAL METHOD IN AN INTELLIGENT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM AND INTELLIGENT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a resource retrieval method in an intelligent identification system and an intelligent identification system. Herein, the intelligent identification system is associated with multiple resource servers provided by multiple resource service providers. The method comprises: receiving retrieval information input by a user, and identifying a resource type represented by the retrieval information (S1); determining, in the multiple resource servers, multiple target resource servers corresponding to the resource type, and transmitting the retrieval information to the multiple target resource servers (S3); and receiving retrieved resources fed back by the multiple target resource servers in regard to the retrieval information, and displaying the retrieved resources to the user (S5). The technical solutions provided in the present disclosure may simplify a user's resource acquisition manner.
Networking modules for display systems
The disclosure relates to modem and router modules for use with digital display systems, including televisions. A modem module is configurable to attach to a set-top box, a set-back box, directly to a digital display, or may even be integrated into display equipment. Router functions and ports can be integrated into the module to provide for networking of additional devices in proximity to the module and/or display, using either or both wired and wireless access technologies. Systems including the module convert power to the appropriate forms for delivery to the different devices, hardware, and components associated with the module. The modem and routing functions are configurable to provide separate security domains to isolate or direct traffic among the various networked devices.

DISPLAY DEVICE, DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND DISPLAY METHOD
A projector includes: an image information input unit to which an SD card storing image information and a group ID is coupled; a screen displaying an image based on the image information; a communication unit coupled via a network to another projector having an SD card storing image information, the communication unit communicating with the another projector; and a control unit determining whether a group ID corresponding to the group ID is stored in the SD card or not, based on communication by the communication unit, the control unit synchronizing a display of the image by the screen and a display of an image based on the image information by the another projector when the group ID is stored in the SD card.
Selectively delaying control word delivery for piracy identification
Systems, devices and automated processes detect piracy of broadcast television signals through selective delay of decrypted code words that are used to render satellite or other received television signals. Smart cards or similar access control hardware are programmed to selectively delay delivery of cryptographic code words based upon the identity of the receiver device. The delayed delivery of the code words produces intentional glitches in the content rendered by the receiver, thereby allowing viewers of the rendered content to ascertain the identity of the device.
INDIVIDUAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Provided is an individual management system that prevents confusion of ova, fertilized eggs, and the like to be used for treatment, and that is suitable for individual management of fertilized eggs and the like to be cryopreserved. This individual management system comprises: a server 11 installed in an appropriate location within a facility; a plurality of personal computers 13, 21; identification code readers 14, 22, 34 that are used at appropriate location within the facility; an identification code/IC tag reader 47; a device, instrument, implement, and container 41, 42, 43, 45 that are used to cryopreserve specimens, as necessary; and identification codes and IC tags 43d, 45c that are attached to at least the device, instrument, implement, and container. The device, instrument, implement, and container installed or used within the facility are interconnected via an intra-facility network 5, and further connected to a cloud server 71 via the Internet 6.
Smart TV with cloud service
A smart TV includes a control IC; a display coupled to the control IC; a memory coupled to the control IC to store data; a subscriber identity module (SIM) coupled to the control IC to identify a subscriber; and a cloud server wireless transceiver coupled to the control IC to omit an internet; wherein the cloud server wireless transceiver transmits or receives the data to or from a remote terminal with cooperation of the subscriber identity module (SIM).
